Is this for real? Anyone planning to get a pair of these?

Not going to lie, they looked cooler in the movie from my memory. I had to go back and watch the scene again. It looks like they made them pretty accurately. But I think I'm just not a fan of Nike shoes, though.
I've longed for the day that they made these shoes. Ever since I watched the trilogy when i was young. These are my favorite movies, I can't wait until the stupid facebook photos of "OH MARDEE WENT BACK IN TIME 2DAY" with times poorly photoshopped. But those shoes were always the pinnacle of cool whenever i watched the movie (that and the hoverboards). I'm also waiting on the super cool futuristic Pepsi bottles.
Maybe I'll buy a pair to put on the shelf next to some other BTTF stuff i have
In all seriousness though, I wouldn't doubt these shoes being really expensive. So I probably won't spend a ton of money just to put shoes on a shelf. I will, however, start wearing my clothes inside out! Get a head start on the 2015 trends.

I regularly wear retro style hi tops and would buy a pair of these if they weren't too expensive.

I remember when they auctioned off the older model (without power laces) on ebay as a fundraiser a few years ago.  Prices were ridiculous.
I bet these are going to be pretty expensive like the previous ones.

Yeah, the article said they were like a grand a pair for the ones back in 2011.
That's like 1/5 of a Magical Chase!  :P

I know how to tie my shoes and I'd never spend that kind of coin on frickin' shoes.

Hopefully if they mass produce them, they could be affordable.

The highest I would pay is $15 Max

Why do laces even exist ? Velcro should have superceded all shoe tying mechanisms
