And, here I am with the man that started it all for me and the Turbo Grafx 16 way back then. My mom got him the system and a few games. That started some good times right there. It's cool having a dad that loves to game. Hell, he used to call in to work sick just to stay home and obey.... lol

Alright, I'll spill the beans, well, partly... Instead of a modified selfie Hailing-style, warped or otherwise, I just went with sunglasses. I've typically used distant photos for Facebook, or from when I was a kid, never something clear that'd guarantee recognition offline in the present, etc.
Leave it up for like 15 seconds, nw? Afraid the NSA would detect it? too late for ccovell... that amiga will be the last thing he hugs.

Yeah, people always jump to the worst of conclusions based on your dressing attire and your upholding of Constitutional Rights to keep and bear arms for the purposes of defending your life, liberty and property, as well as that of your loved ones!! See a guy walking around with a gun/rifle in his hands, a towel on his head, assume he doesn't have an open-carry licensing permit based on said appearance, make wild accusations, even try to tackle the guy! Desh, necklaces go under shirts, especially this tight around the neck. It's like, Under-f*cking-WEAR! That's just... Gaudy :)
WTF is that? Mason jar? That doesn't appear to be moonshine.
Question, I'm dying to know, do you know where Jimmy Hoffa's body is?!?
To be honest I don't remember the night, let alone someone taking this picture of me. Therefore, the location of Hoffa's body is still anyone's guess.
To the question on what's in the mason jar, it is "apple pie". The base alcohol of this beverage is Everclear which is illegal to sell in the great state of Ohio. This is the reason I can not recall the night in question.

Was this one of those "I peed sitting down on a chair." kind of nights?
Not exactly. Mind you, this was before I had kids. It was a night that ended with me in the next door neighbors' driveway (not my house, not my neighbor) curled up in the fetal position while vomiting. This was all happening at the same time the neighbor happened to be pulling up the driveway.
Needless to say, many of my unmarried, non-parent friends ask why I don't hang out and party very much anymore. My answer is I got it all out of my system from years passed.

The population of the Japanese countryside is draining rapidly - some places have half the people they did 30 years ago - and some real estate they're practically giving away. One of these days, I wouldn't mind retiring there.

That's so sad to hear. One of favorite memories of Japan was some of the countryside when I got out of the Kanazawa area. Me and some friends stayed at a small cheap inn with a complimentary bath and an amazing view and just hiked around the area for a couple days.
Those memories and the landscape were probably part of what brought me out near the mountains of Colorado in later life.

For a place packed with over 120 million people, Japan really does have some incredibly lush and beautiful countryside. The water is clean and the air is nice, and the produce is delicious.
Economically, however, Japan's population problem is huge and depressing. Google the old blog "Spike Japan", which is one of the few gaijin blogs I've liked, if you want to know more. His "Ugly Japan" entry was especially good, although the top page entry works fine.

Really ? I have gotten slightly near-sighted myself. The only issue I have is when I'm going someplace new and I can't read the street sign in time to get either in the left lane or right lane to make the turn with ease based on traffic. Nowadays though with my Tom Tom or even my new phone, it's not a problem with GPS navigation.

I'm still the same weight, I'm not obese like Nullity.
Sticks and stones, mon frere.
Some people maintain their waistline as they grow older, while others retain their sanity. :P
Plus, there are certain advantages to being a big guy. For instance:
[ul][li]I displace as much water as almost two of any other forumite, which comes in handy and makes me doubly useful in those situations where you need to displace water. [/li][li]On flights, people tend to not want to sit next to me as I leave only 3/4 of a seat on either side for other passengers.[/li][li]I can effectively anchor WAAAYYYY more helium baloons than you.[/li][li]If I'm feeling lazy, I can just breathe heavy and slouch to be excused from any physical task. Nobody wants to make a fat guy keel over and die.[/li][li]Any vehicle I drive naturally gets better traction in slippery winter conditions than it would get with you behind the wheel.[/li][li]And last but not least: mobility scooters. Ain't nobody get in my way when I back up down the cheetos aisle. BEEP BEEP BEEP "MOVE BITCH, GET OUT THE WAY, IT AIN'T EASY BEIN' CHEESY"[/li][/ul]
haha, Wow, I did not expect a Nullity response, such as that!
I always see you goofing about your weight, though I've never seen a photo of you, so I treated it like fair game.
Upon logging in here, over the weekend, I saw a thread, perhaps in fighting street, that planted the seed for me to comment here.
Anyway, yes, you could survive longer in cold sea water, than I could.
*Ah, I found the post of yours, form this weekend, that must have got my mind going.

Sometimes it's better you don't recall. I have some stories, but not sure what to post here
Everclear? My limit, was 151, anything beyond that, I did not want to mess with. I'd rather enjoy the liquor I drink, than not. It has been 10+ years since I've consumed Everclear, or 151.
I think it was last year, or the year before, a number of other states also made Everclear illegal.

Yes, re-imagining kids shows as vulgar is a staple @ 4chan, I reckon.
If the folks had any creativity, they would do the reverse: take actual adult porn and edit to to make it wholesome family entertainment!
See, that would be more of a challenge. And to successfully do it, you would have to be very creative. Yes, explicit sex scenes would have to remain in he "wholesome" family version.
Unless folks at 4chan already do this...which I doubt.

Yes, silly faces would be a great idea.
Also, I was thinking you could frame porn as "medical video examining skin cancer" or an instructional video for something innocuous.

If the folks had any creativity, they would do the reverse: take actual adult porn and edit to to make it wholesome family entertainment!
