One picture shows the motherboard and if you look at the right side chip, it looks like something was burning. Blown chip? Hard to fix or worth trying to buy it to fix it?
-
And maybe a broken leg on the chip on the left of the blown one?
-
I know that seller and I passed on that console. You need to see under the board as well. I have a closer phote in my email and it looks like it burnt pretty deep.

Coffee grinds.

I would pass...there could be dozens more burned traces and vias under the chip as well.
-
The cost of shipping makes it not worth it.
-
I would pass as well. the seller is a very experienced guy for fixing Retro hardware. If He can't fix it, most of the people can't fix it
-
I bought a cheap duo from him and I was lucky to have the Steve help me out big time. The cxa1082 chip was bad.

50% new isn't enough. 85% new or GTFO.
find in warehouse , tested Hucard is working condition and small sound , the CD Function NOT work(when power on cd function the cd disc NOT spin) I don't know WHY
Sure you don't, you lying f*ck.

Pass! He fixes these systems and sells them usually. So if he can't fix it good chance that it would be trouble and most likely not fixable without a good amount of work.
-
i have another email where he says that he tried to have it fixed and it can't be done.
-
Yeah, sounds like this is something for someone like Steve to buy, fix, resell, if interested etc.
