Title: Gold HuCards
Post by: rcantor77 on March 01, 2015, 08:56:16 AM
Now I was fully aware of the promotional Gold HuCard release of Yokai Dochuki...

But on Yahoo Auctions atm, a Gold Chan and Chan has turned up and is commanding quite a tasty ¥128,434 price tag already... does anyone know of any others that exist..?

In fact, Yokai Dochuki is there as well if you fancy it...

Haven't seen those gold cases...
But were you aware of Power League Gold HuCard ?
Very rare, and seriously expensive.

I don't think power league gold has a gold case tho just a gold sticker on the card.

I think a legit Akiyama Jin would fetch a higher price at auction than any of these titles honestly

That's not a sticker - it's paint, like any other HuCard.
I've seen one of those up close in Akihabara, it was going for about $900 at the time.
Yes, Akiyama Jin is more rare and thus more expensive.

Those are fake. If you compare with pictures of leggit ones, you'd see the difference right away.

Yarr, they look fake to me too.  On a real gold Youkai Dochuki, both the manual and back of huey are different than the retail version; the manual shown in the auction is wrong, and they don't even show the huey at all.

Yeah maybe they are... and especially that they don't show the HuCard. But I thought the manual was the same as shown here..

And the black/gold card was just an additional inlay...

But if they have been sprayed to con people then they have done a pretty good job around the labels, unless they have been restuck on afterwards.

Well, there are no bids on the auctions as of yet.

My mistake; I thought that was the back cover of the manual.  Still, I'd not spend that kind of monies for something incomplete.

Indeed, especailly for a game that is exactly the same... I would at least want to have something different like the Special Version Soldier games that you get less of a game for your money... now then its worth it.  :-k  8)
