Was looking for a slightly hidden place to install the switch for the obey chip and settled on this:

Didn't see any discussion on here as to where people were installing them so I thought I would share. I should have put it a little further down, in hind sight, as its a bit harder to switch it down than up due to less room at the top. I can still fit my finger in there to switch it though, so its not really a problem.

File that hole out, make it look more professional. Other then that, yeah its a good spot for it.

I already glued it in place, but I should have done that. ](*,)

Looks good to me, nice and stealthy.

Yeah, gluing them in is actually a bad idea too if you're using super glue. I know that people like the slide ones because they are easier to conceal and easy to glue in, but cheaper slide switches have a bit less life in them then something like a panel mount pole switch. Once that switch goes bad you'll have to pry it out to replace it, versus the panel mount that you can just remove the washer and nut and swap out.

Yep, i am a fan of the snap-in plug style ones too. Easy to replace when needed & hole doesn't have to 100% square and the lip covers it nicely.
