Title: FS: Re-capped TE w/ hard case sporting TE logo
Post by: FiftyQuid on March 23, 2015, 05:08:32 AM
Hi guys,

As much as this pains me to do, I am thinking of selling my TE w/ hard case.  I need to fund some pinball parts and it's just sitting on a shelf.  Someone should be enjoying it.

Pricing?  I'd like to get $250+shipping, but I'm willing to entertain all reasonable offers.  This will only be sold to someone I have dealt with in the past or a long time veteran of the forum.  Basically, someone I trust.  I would prefer to keep in Canada as shipping to the USA/Internationally has become stupid expensive.  But hey!  If you want to pay for shipping then be my guest.  Item will be insured and tracked.

Details
- Re-capped by BlueBMW.
- There is a pixel (possibly two) out on the screen.  I will confirm.
- Hard case re-foamed by yours truly.  See thread here for re-foaming details and some additional pics;

- Battery compartment is very good.
- Overall condition of TE is very good.
- Overall condition of TE hard case is excellent.

I'm located in Ottawa, Ontario (K2K 1K4) in case you want to estimate shipping.  You will only pay what I pay.

Please let me know if my pricing is out of line.  Wait... This is PCEFX.  I'm sure someone will tell me if it is.   8)

Yeah, that's a first for me too.  I've got the hard carrying case for the TG-16, but definitely not the one for the Express.  Really cool man.

Yeah, I like that case, never knew about it either.

My attachment to my TurboExpress is because it's the one and only portable I ever purchased and I had lots of good times with it playing Super Star Soldier. With a chance for a 3.5" LCD mod in the future, and a Turbo Everdrive flashcart, I think I can continue to give it some playtime down the road. Sure, it mostly sits unused, like most of my game collection, but stuff that's apart of me that has historical value/appreciation will remain with me until, well, to quote Charlton Heston, "From my cold, dead hands..." ;)

More power to you sir. I agree. I may not beat every game I own, or play each one within a given time spawn, but it's a great feeling to say "hey, I want to play game x" pick it up, pop it in, and enjoy a session.

This is an amazing item OP. I'd be all over it if I were able. Good luck with the sale, and hope it goes to a happy home :)

Are you really really small?  Or are you going to be cremated? :P
