Hi chaps. I'm having a nice cd rom rom set up hopefully arrive next week. Thing is I already have 2 x controllers, a turbo tap and a 6ft extension cable. Rather than spend dough on a new tap / controllers is it a simple case of finding / possibly making an 8 pin din to mini din adapter? I know telegames still have stock of reverse taps but at about £35 + 20% tax and shipping its a complete rip off.

As far as I've read it should be as simple as you say - making a connector from PC Engine to TG16 connectors. This may help http://www.gamesx.com/controldata/turbocont.htm as it has the pinouts and pin numbering.

Thanks pulstar

so is it just me or does the pinouts not really tell you what wire goes to what pin. or is the numbering on the board match the pin on the connector

here is a more detailed schematic:

its for converting to usb, but it shows the connectors better on both controllers
there are also some numbered pics of both male and female connectors
