Title: Turbo Grafx controller to Duo/PCE conversion.

I still have the TG-16 controller from my original system from years ago.  Problem is the metal connector part has broken off.

  I remember at one time having a duo pad that was a converted TG-16 pad from tzd back when they were still active.  If I got one of these:

is there someone in the US that can convert it for me?  I can't solder to save my life.

You don't need a mod, just get this and open and swap.

IF you still have the metal part you can super glue it back in. It has always worked for me.

That metal is long gone.  I've had this controller since the early 90s.  Didn't have the heart to toss the controller when I found it a few years ago.

Well you could either buy the cable mothergunner suggested or get one of these http://www.monoprice.com/Product?c_id=102&cp_id=10215&cs_id=1021501&p_id=522&seq=1&format=2 and solder it in yourself.


Also, might want to check what the connector inside your controller looks like. If it's the larger yellowish looking socket then the cable will not directly replace with the JP one but if the socket is the smaller white kind that you can just swap them.

Its white like the one in eBay auction.  I'm gonna order one of them tomorrow.  I wish I had solder skills, I'd solder in the monoprice cable for a super long cord.   Thanks for the help everyone!
