Hi there, :)
I tried to repair an old pc engine GT console.
In the past I repaired the same console without problems but now I had a problem with the video part, I replaced the video and audio caps but the video doesn't work, I have the same picture, a black screen. The sound works great!
I noticed that there was some battery leak.
I did a video and there are some pictures.
What can I do for the screen?

Try replacing the two Backlight Caps (the two behind the Video Cap.) Cut out the putty stuff with an exacto, be very careful because there's a transistor close to the very back one.
The Cap values for those two are 100uf 16V. Good luck

your going to stress that system.
Replace them all and be done with it for 15 years
