Title: [USA] no longer WTB PCE GT or TE (got it)
Post by: wilykat on April 21, 2015, 05:07:48 PM
No idea what to pay so I'll start with $100 via Paypal for a working unit with battery cover, more if it's been recapped and / or modded with new LCD.  Since I have Everdrive, it does not matter if it's a USA TE or Japanese GT, region mod not needed either.

I can't do Yahoo Jp and eBay is full of snipers with itchy trigger finger.

TIA!!

I have one I will be listing for HercTnT soon. Its region modded, has a rechargeable battery, new lcd screen, video out, and can use a pce gamepad when you use it on a tv. If you want to know its features in detail drop him a pm. I planned to take pics of it this week and get it listed. Please note though, I don't know how it's region mode acts with a flashcard. I believe the region mod pcb inside is the obey one.

most systems worked fine, but a few have had issues with flash cards
it seems to be system specific so you would have to try it on that unit
i do have a fix for it

Finally may be getting one soon.  Known to have bad caps but it is complete in box. Just waiting for response from someone in a trade deal on Atariage.

So did you end up paying $100 for it?

Ended up trading a working Commodore 128D and an RGB monitor for a boxed TE plus boxed AC adapter and boxed car adapter.

Probably around $250 value.
