Title: RGB
Post by: wildo2ne on May 11, 2015, 05:45:35 PM
Guys want to let you know about some awesome work done by Keith Courage for me, he has been working hard on adding RGB to my Duo and I have to say it came out amazing! no bars anywhere with color so bright you will go blind and edges so sharp you will cut your eyes.

I know it is a bit of an investment but if you can spare the cash absolutely go RGB as it is worth every penny for those who want the best picture they can possibly get.

I couldn't agree more I just got a PC-Engine duo modded for RGB and it's just amazing.  The colors just pop from the screen.  I still have my CRT when I feel like taking a trip to 1990 lol.

I presume you are using an rgb compatible monitor or an xrgb upscanner enable rgb via your pc engine/duo/turbo cd/16?

it's not just vivid colours, the sharpness of pixels may cut your fingers if you touch it, no blurry composite video image

I picked up a Duo-R with region and RGB mod in January. Connected to my XRGB mini. It is amazing. Pixels cut my eyes.

Keith never did a RGB mod for me, but he did do a complete briefcase unit for me about a year ago. He was very professional and was willing to work with me. He is a great guy. He worked fast too. It's always nice not waiting 4 months for a mod.
