Title: WTF? The Rock to star in Big Trouble in Little China remake
Post by: Otaking on June 02, 2015, 06:56:00 AM: The Rock is going to star as Jack Burton and also produce a remake of Big Trouble in Little China, WTF! sacrilege!
It's one of the best films of the eighties, a stone cold classic. I can't possibly understand why they would think The Rock would match this movie.

The original was a very "aware" homage/sendup of so many things that don't even exist in cinema in 2015, meaning that this movie will either have to be a "frozen in time" thing like the Brady Bunch movie or a completely overhauled wild card like Jem is, in which case even using the name is pointless.

This just keeps happening over and over again...
