Double Team (hey, you never said it had to be good!)
Armageddon
Robocop (Verhoeven)
Aliens
Uncle Buck
T2

ROBOCOP is one of the best movies of all time, as far as I am concerned. I friggin' love it.

But then you list T2, the biggest turd in the world. Ok, it's not the worst, but I can't rewatch it. Upon release, I saw it in the theatre... and I still don't want to rewatch it, after all these years (ok, I'm teasing you, I did see it again when it was on VHS widescreen).

Star Trek II

I love the first Star Trek...it has an amazing atmosphere and I don't mind the really slow, deliberate pacing. It is visually beautiful, and the soundscape is fantastic, too.

Star Trek II = The best. I saw it with my father when I was a kid and it remains one of the best experiences. So friggin' awesome. I was 7 when I saw it, so it was particularly awesome to experience in the theatre.

Aliens = awesome, but I overwatched it in my youth.

Das boot
Downfall
Totoro
Grave of the fireflies
Akira

I have watched Grave of the Butterflies so many times. It still upsets me. I have not become desensitized to it. Such a powerful film.

What? T2 was friggin awesome!!  :D The CGI effects for the time and the T-1000 completely blew my mind.
And it's probably the most quotable Arnie film, so many classic lines.

I won't say I dislike T2, but I do find myself cheering for the T-1000 to accomplish his mission and kill whiny bitch John Connor.

Even at the time, I enjoyed the original Terminator far more: the atmosphere and tension of Terminator (and, say Aliens), meant so much more to me than the vapid action sequences in T2.

Lost in Translation is one of the few movies I can watch more than once. It just has a special atmosphere. The music contributes a lot to that too.

After checking the shelf, here's a few more that I can watch repeatedly: Fletch, Fletch Lives, and The Ladies Man.

I like Fletch so much more than Fletch Lives.

There is something so great about the pacing (and the atmosphere, and the performances) in Fletch...and I like the music (even though it repeats over and over, I went from finding it annoying to living the damn theme).

BRIEFLY: I love that Fletch isn't as XTREME as other films. It doesn't really try to be an action film (thank goodness!). Many other formulaic films would have inserted EXTREME GUNFIGHTS/CARCHASES/DEATH/DEATH into something like Fletch.

I love that the movie proceeds according to "Fletch Time"...

I'll stop.

I love both, but the first is much better then Fletch Lives.  Still, they're 2 of my all time favorite movies.  Actually, one of my favorite scenes is in Fletch Lives, where he's one of those healing church guys, probably the best scene of the movie.

I have to watch this movie again. I have not seen it since I was a kid (mid-80's). I've watched isolated scenes over the years, but I never sat down to watch it in full.

I NEVER SAW IT IN WIDESCREEN GLORY.

I saw it on VHS 4:3 on a small TV.

It was still impressive back then (the futuristic atmosphere...even if the characters seemed to be wearing cardboard armor).

I also remember that it wasn't as awesome as THE BLACK HOLE. The Black Hole is another film I have to watch again, but I am worried that my daughter might find both Tron and Black Hole's pacing kinda slow.

Then again, she is the one who convinced me that Star Trek (first film) is fantastic (if slowly paced) film.

I don't care if my daughter hates Tron, though, since I was never in love with it myself.

Hmmmmm ....

Also, there is no way to have a discussion about Disney's The Black Hole without feeling stupid ("I like black holes")

I watched tron as a kid so it capture my imagination beside there was nothing like it at the time.Few years ago it was released again on dvd and bluray, worth tracking down if you ask me.There was gonna be a tron 3 movie but disney changed there minds and cancel it.All is left now is the black hole remake that joseph kosinski is trying to get going.

That is one that can be watched more than once.  Evil Dead 2 is my favorite, though, as I think they got a little heavy-handed with the goofiness in AoD...not that that's a bad thing, I just appreciate the perfect medley of comedy, action, and horror that is the second Evil Dead.  The recent remake was shit, though.

I did like how seethingly evil the "deadites" were, but it was too gory & intense to be believable, and not funny enough to bear the Evil Dead monicker IMO.  I'm just stoked for Ash Versus...

My list:
Spirited Away
Beetlejuice (and it gets funnier every time!)
Back to the Future (just the first one is worth, the other 2 maybe once in a while)
Tron (1982)
Last Starfighter
Star Wars OT
Origin Spirits of the Past
Welcome to the Space Show
Time Bandits
Neverending Story (just the first one, sequel sucks)

Just realized the non animated movies I like are mostly 80's and the animated movies I like are 2010's

Saw Spirited Away not too long ago as part of my Studio Ghibli marathon after recently discovering the company thanks to Disney. Have to say, Disney takes pride in their English dubbing work, they really strive to naturalize the results, get good lip syncing, choose all star actors, etc.

Yeah, all of the Ghibli localizations have been top-notch. Excellent.

I was lucky to see most of them in the theatre, which was particularly nice.

Better Off Dead

I just watched this with wife and daughter on Saturday.

We bought the DVD because...why is this movie not on Amazon or Apple digital stores? Must be some reason.

If you have the soundtrack, that would be awesome.

Such goofy tunes, but I love them.

"I've been arrested by you, take me in..."

EVERYONE TAKE NOTICE:

I want to say, though, that I think THREE O'CLOCK HIGH is a really great movie that should be seen by all.

I have to watch it again. The first time I watched it, my daughter thought it was mean-spirited and too violent. I'm hoping she has been desensitized to gratuitous violence in the past few years.

Can't list all as I can't remember all in one sitting but a few that I almost always can sit down and enjoy are.

Stargate
Dark Crystal
Kung Fu Hustle
Monty Pythons and the Holy Grail
SpaceBalls - She's gone from Suck....   to Blow!!!
All of the Aliens, yes even 4
Ip Man - Most any Kung Fu movies with Donnie Yen

As much as I hate to admit All of the Harry Potter movies. I own them all on Blue-Ray and whenever the Fiance's Nieces and Nephew come over it gives me a good reason to pop one in. Sometimes we watch or sometimes it just plays in the background.

I can add Interstellar to the list, saw for at least a third time. Can't think of something else of late. While the new Mad Max:Road Fury was a great movie, it doesn't quite fit in line with something I'd add to my replay favorites list. You should check it out if you haven't already though.
