Title: tg16 audio amplifier
Post by: killerbeehead on July 06, 2015, 09:07:14 PM
Hello to everyone on the forum.

I am curious to know whether anyone here has designed an amplifier circuit for the audio output of a Turbografx 16. I just modded my Turbografx 16 to output stereo sound through RCA jacks, and the output sounds quite soft. If anyone knows of a way to amplify the sound, I would be most grateful.

Thanks

Just commenting on the off chance youre using an LCD and its built in sound. Use a stereo amp or a stereo speaker set. Tv audio is much lower these days then what it used to be due to how it processes audio now, and how skimpy the speakers are in LCD's.

I am using a stereo receiver for sound, however, the volume and quality of the sound is pretty weak.

The quality should be good just not quite as loud as having a turbo booster.

To combat this I typically turn on the auto leveling for sound on my TV and all is well.
