True it's not a new title but if you never play it on the PS2 here's you're chance. If they add more to the game, remove the slowdown and improve it's loading times i'll buy it day one.

one of the best PS2 exclusives

Sweet, Odin Sphere was awesome... really glad to see that this is getting an actual physical release over here!

I bought the original on day 1, bought it when it was put on PSN, & still haven't played it! It's been on my backlog. Well, now I'll purchase this, hopefully I'll finally play it. My backlog is getting tougher, as I get older, & have no time, & have to decide what game to play next. :/

My word this game was boring as hell. Maybe they can remaster that out if it.

I loved the look of this game but my GOD was it ever a chore to play!

Mostly it was when it came down to leveling up.Beside having to grind for the boss rush at the end of the game.Which is why i'm hoping the load times will be improved.

I just hated how the game actually played. The leveling was a tad tedious, sure, but it was the combat that I disliked. The slowdown all over, the boss in the underworld springs to mind here, was annoying as all get out. Playing the crossbow girl almost made me quit the game. Playing Velvet or whatever or name was? That Did make me quit.
That being said, Odin Sphere definitely has its good points. I thought the game's art looked great and it had a good soundtrack. I thought the plot delivery method was good; I enjoyed seeing the story develop over the course of following different characters and finding the whole story by the end. Despite my overall disliking the game I'd still recommend it to anyone who likes the look of 2d games if merely for the spectacle of it all.
