Title: Splatterhouse PCE copy raffle
Post by: ProfessorProfessorson on July 28, 2015, 07:57:47 AM
I posted about this copy before. Everything about the game works great, other then on stage 6 there is some pixel issues in the background. Toshi have me a large partial refund on this copy even though I never asked for one, because he is an awesome seller, one of my absolute favorites, so this raffle is in his honor.

Anyway, if you want to see pics of the pixel issues, check this link:

https://www.pcenginefx.com/forums/index.php?topic=19378.0

As is, game is up for raffle. 500 post count minimum. No Germans allowed, f*ck Germany blah blah blah...Winner is picked in 4 weeks. Winner pays shipping and is required to send thanks to Toshi at Jump to Japan for being an awesome seller all these years. :)

Also, send thanks to Bernie for being an super nice awesome member here all these years, inspiring true generosity. A unsung hero around here for sure, and I am glad he came back and started to post again. :)

Anyone who could make a $3-5 donation to Nightwolve will get two entries into the randomizer instead of one.

I also want to add, on all my current raffles going on, including the Tobias repros, anyone who would be willing to make a $3-5 donation to Nightwolve will get two entries into the randomizer instead of one in the randomizer drawing. If you donate like $10 to him, that will get you three entires instead of two. This extra entry can be applied to only one raffle, so keep that in mind and choose wisely on how you would want them applied. All you have to do is send me proof via pm of making said donation, in thanks of Nightwolve and his years of service to our community.

Please be aware that Nightwolve did not ask me to do this, I just wanted to try to get him some of his due for everything he has done for the community.

You have 4 weeks to get 500 legit post in. Do like 25 meaningful post a day and you may just make it into the raffle.

Switz and Germany are both on my shit list since Tobias has used both as his stomping grounds for his business, but mainly Germany.  I mean, unless I know you personally, which I would then make an exception, or if the president gets kidnapped by ninjas or something, and you happen to rescue him along with defeating Karnov, and go out for burgers afterwords and have your picture taken with him and like 200 Secret Service agents out on the White House lawn, I might make an exception for you. But in general, no, you are sol.

And in case you are wondering which Karnov I am referring to, its this one (formally known as Zoltar):

Karnov is the winner, or as it were, no one wanted to enter, so no one wins.

You didn't count. It was already explained to you as to why. Crying about it only makes me want to slap a perma ban on you in any future raffle regardless of post count.

Off topic but I am one of the few who really liked the Splatterhouse remake. I think they captured the tone of the originals and it was a nice touch to have the original games as unlock able extras. Given the price of all the originals these days it is a great way to play them.

I feel like Karnov (Voltar) deserves this game. It will help him get in touch with his inner gentle side. Or cry at the horror on display.

I guess I should probably pick up a copy of Splatterhouse one of these days. Used to own it way back and did somehow manage to beat the game (I found it really hard).
