Title: FS: US TurboDuo Recapped, Region and Component Video Modded - SOLD!!
Post by: schweaty on July 30, 2015, 03:32:18 AM: I might regret selling this one day, but for your consideration is my US TurboDuo. It was region modded by the previous owner with a huge switch (just like KC mentioned in another thread), but the work was solid with heat shrink on all the connections and it works great, so I have left it alone. It is the blue switch on the back in the picture.

Since I have owned it, I have replaced all the capacitors and installed Turbokon's V2 component video PCB. I used a 8-Pin DIN socket in the place of the factory socket, so an original AV cable (not included) can be used instead of the custom component cable if you want. If you have a modern flat screen TV please ensure it can use 240p signal prior to making an offer.

Lastly, the laser has been dialed in on thesteve's oscilloscope and it includes an additional HOP-M3 laser (not pictured). Everything you see in the pic below is included. Price is $400 shipped anywhere in the 48-states. PM if you have any questions.

FYI - I am not getting out of the Turbo game and I do not need money. I just need to make some space and clear out some redundant systems.

I just want to say that this man, is a saint. He has been Uber awesome to work with, went above and beyond whenever I had questions, and brought up things that I didn't even know I needed to talk about or check on.

I would love to buy more stuff from him.
