Yep, I just watched this the other day. I knew how sprites worked and about various limitations but was unaware of some of the specifics tied to individual hardware limitations. I don't know much about the C64 for example.

blitter > raster
Could you explain?  'Cause they're totally different things.

(Raster being a horizontal beam of photons...)

I've known about C64 graphics and its limitations.  The sprite for example can have 24x21 (3 bytes wide, 21 lines) in high res mode but it can have only 1 color plus background.  Sprite can also have hi-color at reduced resolution, all 8 sprites shares the same 2 additional colors so you're still limited by available color.

Maybe he paid for the "Youtube metaphysical special" where 1 frame = 1 view.

Quality of content does not necessarily correlate to viewership numbers in any way, sadly.

Your cat wanted me pass this message to you:

"Stop."

And then he muttered something about "monetizing videos" under his fishy breath.

LOL, we have to be careful with him if we mention the word greenie he goes crazy. Literally. Or toy, those are his buzz words. Depending if I actually get a lot of views, I might post yet another video of the little critter. Back to topic, PART 2 now! :P

Don't know why he called it Apple and Atari - he just mentioned the Atari 2600 in passing and didn't explain the way it draws graphics at all....

Well, I suppose they're both related in that they both generate graphics in weird ways, and they both rely on NTSC timings to get colour/graphics at all.

the Atari 2600 also relies on heavy drug use.

Activision was basically a bunch of professional stoners/acid users, I think.
