I've been watching ebay auctions for a little bit, trying to get an idea of cost. But it seems to be all over the place and I have no idea why. Couple recent examples:
http://www.ebay.ca/itm/262008294833
http://www.ebay.ca/itm/331632431400
http://www.ebay.ca/itm/331619795649
http://www.ebay.ca/itm/381351715052
Each pair of links ended around the same time of each other. The one that ended later in each case was decently more expensive than the one that ended sooner, prior to the 'sooner' auction actually ending. Are people not seeing these other cheaper auctions or are they getting caught up in bidding wars or... What am I missing :?
Anyways, what's the goal at this point -- ~$120 USD?

I'd say the game's worth about $130, but the way things are going, you'd be lucky to get it for that.

Wasn't it like $100 only a few months ago?
Honestly, if you really want to just play the game, buy it on the Wii or burn a CD-R.

There was one last night that ended at $212.50. Sold by Yamatoku-classic. Looked to be in great shape with spine card.
I don't know why it went for so much.

Yamatoku has his own weird thing going with the auctions. A lot of people win 1 or 2 things then start doubling down to "save" on shipping and stuff gets crazy bids sometimes. I'm guilty of doing that too, a SAL Small Packet fits 2kg, might as well get as close as I can :P

WTF  I used the search too, how the hell...

Never. I've checked it out a couple times but not seriously. How does setting up shipping work with that? Or communication in general. Is there a thread on that somewhere? lol

Gamedude does indeed carry PC Engine games...you have to call for prices. I wish they would change the online price lists to reflect that. If you look on the price list, they have a Generic PCE and PCE CD price. Obviously, if you go in with something rare or whatnot, they will pay you more money for it because they wouldn't sell Dracula X for that cost either. So, don't believe it, all of the systems that have import games, Gamedude does buy and sell imports. Just saying.

Starting to think you have some sort of relationship with gamedude. I can never take their prices seriously seeing that they "sell" Magical Chase for $279..

Yeah I kind of figured that. Still, people need to stop asking what shit is worth and Gamedude is about as good as you'll get as a fair price guide. I'm half tempted to see if a mod can post a sticky about Gamedude's prices as a guide. Maybe then it will deflate the market enough so we don't see people continuing to use ebay as a price guide. A guy can wish I guess.... To answer the OP post, I got my Dracula X in a 6 game lot for around $90 3 years ago.
