if anybody has a gamecube with gameboy player, the Capcom mini-mix includes a perfect version of MFF on it for under $10.
anybody paying going rate for this on NES is kind of dumb.

Sure is while the famicom version is cheaper.I'm rather shocked how quickly the price for the nes,MFF has climbed.

That is why I initaly bought the GbA port. Liked what I saw then bought the Famicom copy CIB even for like $35 dollars.

Because of that I would only buy the NA copy of I found one for like $20-30 dollars. Otherwise shelling out the current asking price for a loose copy doesn't fit my financial needs.

Also on the otherhand,

River City Ransom for PC Engine is very expensive, $180+

I paid that much for the NES version, and thought it expensive.

I just checked ebay too, and I see an unsold BIN for $120.  No doubt yahoo auctions are even cheaper.

I have to say it all the time and still, people keep hyping gouging. Asking prices don't mean anything. But even if going by asking prices on eBay of all places, there is a BIN for 1/3 less than you're claiming the game sell for no less than. Of course, if you look at Sold listings, you will find none, because the gougers are asking several times what people are willing to pay. Spreading misinformation about game prices is why gougers exist in the fist place, to take advantage of the uninformed insta-collectors.

I'm not going to list some of the places you can find the game at for a reasonable price, because I don't want flippers to clear them out and hold games hostage on eBay at gouged asking prices. But regulars here often talk about these sources.

River City Ransom for the Pc Engine is like the x68000 version with the added stuff, or just an upgrade graphically?
