Hello! I'm totally looking for a CIB copy of Wily Wars with US art as seen in these photos:

I've already tried messaging the trickster that claimed to be the first one to make a full repro using this art. He hasn't got back to me, so I assume he's dead.
If anyone can make me one or knows where one can be purchased, please let me know. It would be very much appreciated as I haven't played this game in ages and want this extra pretty version to rub up against.

I've seen it listed multiple places with that art and almost bought it until I saw the US art. US art is awesome. Also, I've seen it complete with the regular art for about $45 shipped. Thank you, though. :3

The game isn't the fastest, but I don't recall it feeling slow enough to say "f*cking." Perhaps whatever clip you watched was someone playing the PAL rom on NTSC hardware?

You can change it to run better, I believe. Also, isn't there an NTSC rom floating around from Sega Channel?

HTG - if there is a group buy on this you can setup, I'd go in on a repro of it too. ranting about tobias has my repro-appetite raging and this is high on the desired repro list ;)

I can provide any photoshop (and maybe printing) needed, but I can't create the PCB + rom. I would love to get into making repros like this and other games that are simply not available.

I can provide any photoshop (and maybe printing) needed, but I can't create the PCB + rom. I would love to get into making repros like this and other games that are simply not available.
If you're willing to do the stuff* and it looks all pretty like, I'm willing to buy us both a loose, regular copy of dat Mega. Holler.
*Includes: Clamshell insert with US art cover- could easily use the regular back art from the non-US insert and slap it together with the US art front cover. US art manual cover jacket-that can be thrown over the (probably) easy to find manual floating around. US art glossy sticker.

I can probably enlarge this, and clean it up again, then attach it to the back art of the box art. I can also modify this to make the label. If we can find a higher resolution (preferably not a JPG) then the quality will improve, this will look dithered and all ff'd up probably :/

As long as it's just scans and there's no download links to roms and isos on the page, it's fine to share.

Thanks, I'd rather play it safe than sorry. I don't like sharing copy-written material. If I had made the image I would have felt OK sharing it, but I did not make these, and I didn't even find them just a middle man for someone who did :) . There are too many officially released games, and fan translated/modified games on this site to feel kosher about sharing it.
I have very mixed feelings about repros. This Wily Wars game is the exact poster child for what I like about rerpos - a game I played growing up when it was on Sega Channel (my favorite Sega Channel experience aside from Phantasy Star IV that later turned into disgust when I lost my save after the game was removed from the service), but I've never been able to own a copy of the game I enjoyed so much.
I don't feel too bad about making myself a copy of this game using 100% new materials. On the other side of the coin, the thought of someone making these at a significant profit using materials that are fan made, limited (poaching carts), or selling a recent fan's translation or hack without their consent, all disgusts me. So much so that I even feel hesitant making my own cart for Wily Wars after seeing this site.
I still might try to make my own repro for Wily Wars. I just love the game so much, and don't have a Genesis Everdrive, At least HTT can continue his quest with new materials in hand to make it easier to complete.
