Hi all,
Lately I've been enjoying Double Dragon II: The Revenge on the TurboGrafx-16 CD.
As far as I know this game was a "Japan only" release - with all the cut scenes spoken in Japanese.
Has anyone ever heard of a version of this game with spoken English (a bootleg perhaps)?
Hope to hear back.
Thanks,
Matt P

Welcome to the forums Matt!
And unfortunately no. It is kinda strange considering Double Dragon used to be an NES staple series like Castlevania.
What else have you been playing?

Are you volunteering to do the voices for every character?

I will and I can.
I just need a script.
And...maybe I don't even need a script.

I'm pretty sure you can figure it out without it being translated. It's..... Double Dragon.

Hey thanks guys - you've confirmed my suspicions.
Has anyone come across an English translation transcript? Perhaps someone reading this may have another idea for sourcing an English translation (anyone on this forum speak Japanese)?
Thanks for the welcome lukester. At the moment DDII is the only TG-16 game I'm playing...but I'm looking into Bonk's Adventure.

Just an update...
I have posted on the Double Dragon Dojo forum to try and get an English translation transcript for this great game: http://doubledragon.kontek.net/forums/viewtopic.php?uid=528&f=2&t=5492&start=0
