Title: Turbo Edge: how many issues exist?
Post by: thisIsLoneWolf on September 27, 2015, 07:54:29 AM
Does anyone know, how many issues of Turbo Edge exist?

It seems to be a relatively lesser known magazine/newsletter, compared to the other turbo centric ones.

Furthermore, I'd love to see scans of these, if anyone would be so gracious.

There are 3 of them. I have them all, but only 2 issues have been scanned at mah webbersight.

Thanks for the link. I've been enjoying the scans on DoxPhile.com for a while now. Keep it up! :)

On a more disappointing note, it's too bad there's only 3 issues of these.

Some dude scanned all three years ago.

Le Google and you'll find them (unless his sight is down, it's been a few years).

I have all three, somewhere. Ha!

Turbo Edge > Microsoft Edge.

So now I know who M$ ripped off in rebranding their Internet browser, how did I not see that before... ;)

Sorry for the necro, but this seems like the thread to post in. I have never been able to find TurboEdge Newsletter - Fall 1991 other than a page or 2. Was the scan ever uploaded anywhere?

Bend the knee to DuoPhile. Pledge your undying devotion to Philer Kingdom, and I shall scan for you what you seek.

Oh fine. Here it is anyway.

I'm too lazy to scan with black backstop, OCR it, crop, and clean it up like I did for the thousands of pages of mags on Duophile, but here you go. I promise all the hairs are actually present on the original flyer- whoever ran the 90's photocopier that made this flyer should have worn a hairnet.

Also, if anyone is interested in buying my TG16 CES binder stuffed full of rare turbo paper stuffs, send me a message. I've gotta make ends meet until my onlyfans takes off.

Any time! I only picked up Club Turbo v1 a couple of months ago, but it's been like 10 years since I've updated the 'phile and I'm not sure I remember how to add more things. Alas, it will never be the 100% complete paper compendium.

While we're sharing scans, I'm not sure it's common knowledge but I scanned and OCR'd vol 1 and 2 of the secrets books. I'm sure they've made their way out to archive sites, but just in case:
