Yeah some really cool screenshots in that thread. Basically all works of art too bad the thread tapered off.

The first stage of Dead Moon has a pretty slick city scape especially in motion.

Outrun 2019 had some cool background city scapes

Although that thread is neat, someone should start a new dedicated PCE cityscapes thread here.

I always liked the city scape in level 1 of Dead Moon.  Dat parallax though...

Contra: Hard Corps and Streets of Rage 2 also have some good ones.

In that thread someone posted this link: http://rekall.tumblr.com/ which is pretty cool. It's a collection of 80's/cyberpunk/anime/arcade flyers etc, gifs and pics. It's worth checking out. There is even some TG16/PCE related stuff if you scroll down far enough.

I was just thinking about this thread and I decided to make a Sapphire GIF. I couldn't find any when I googled it.

That is a great thread indeed, just don't got to the Off Topic over there, it's embarrassing.

STOP STEALING MY IDEAS, DICKHOLE.

Valis city scapes are pretty good at the start when you're running around in your pajamas.

edit:  That link is dead/tarded out .

The best is when the boss from stage 1 of AeroBlasters decimates the pretty city from technozombie's .gif.... razing it to post-apocalyptic, orange-death rubble.
