Hi, anyone know if the differences betwen core1 and 2 are only cosmetics or does the core2 have better video output or something?
I've got a PC Engine + CDROM2 and a Core Grafx 1

I have the same setup but a Core Grafx II. There is no significant difference. I use the video-out from the CD unit anyway.

Actually i have got a white pc engine connected to the cdrom2 and a spare core grafx that i use to play hucard games in my small bedroom :)
Anyone knows if coregrafx 2 is lighter than the 1? because core 1 is a bit heavy, hehehe

Yeah, I am reviving a really dead thread. But I have a question...
I just recently got a Core Grafx, which I preferred over the CF II due to the nasty orange font... But anyway, I have had the white pce in the past, and this Core Grafx is heavier. I dont mean OMG this bitch is heavy, but you can notice the weight difference. Anyone know why?

Similar to the USA for its "size matters", they thought that the original PCE core was too light and therefore can't be made of good quality.
Therefore they had added some dummy weights to correct that delusion.
STOP!
No, I have no clue. have to open one again to check. Probably due to some differences in shieldings etc.?

Yeah, Tats has it right. The sheilding at the bottom of a core II is thicker than the.. well, than the White PCE. I've never opened my Core I's.
