Title: Yahoo auction
Post by: Vimtoman on November 20, 2015, 08:41:06 PM
Just had a costly confusing time on Noppin, bidding on the Yahoo Japanese auction.

Caught out on auto extension?

Spiked to the last drip of my bid.

I know I wanted it but how did they get the bid up to the point where my bid still held.

Then there's the Noppin fee.

Last time.

I use yahoo auction all the time, i am unsure what your question is but its pretty straight forward. You can bid for the starting amount, then usually it goes by 100yens if you want to outbid People. You can also set an automatic maximum bid, so that it people try to outbid you, it will tell them they have to bid another 100 yens, then once they do, it will repeat until they outbid your maximum bid. If you try to snipe in the last 10 minutes, it resets the timer, until no one else bids for 10 minutes.

I live in japan and can read japanese, so being able to use the auction site myself makes things easier, i dont know how the company you are using works.

I hope i could answer your question

I wish ebay extended bid time when someone bids at the last minute. it would eliminate snipers.

I was just poking around and saw this thing.  I didn't know this existed, but now I TOTALLY want one.

People snipe on Yahoo.
I just had somebody do it to me.
They bid around 10 seconds of the end and bid until the last five seconds and stop.

Just bumped up the price.
They did not go into extension time.

What does it even do?  Shock you in the ass when you mess up in a game?

It sends electrical pulses into your rectum and is supposed to cause you to fart, but it doesn't work very well. Toilet Kids is the only known game with dedicated support.

In that case, cross that off the list of things I need...

It's funny how much this looks like a toilet liner when unraveled.  I guess it's just like those gaming chairs they sell that pulse with the music?

Have you ever had sex on it while playing?  If so, was it everything you expected it to be?

Yeah I don't have much to do with eBay these days but i always thought it would completely change things for the better if they introduced this. None of this last last second bidding silliness

I like sniping, as it doesn't give shill bidders a chance to respond.  I place a snipe bid with a service and forget about it until after the auction ends; no fuss, no muss, no coconuts.

This is my feeling on it as well.  I'm more worried about shill bidder than snipers most of the time, or people that get bored and slowly increase the bids on stuff.

Well I guess Yahoo does try's to stop snipping as it's considered bad for sellers.

It depends on the value as the lower the value the higher percentage cost.

It works out around a third of the auction cost on top if you add the original delivery and Nippons costs.

Nippon charge for service, handling ,packing and delivery.

It can still be cheaper than buying on the other US auction site.
I have had some good deals on there.

Same here. Set it and forget it.
