I searched around for an answer to this but was coming up short, so was hoping someone might have some experience with this.
I'm having trouble burning working cds for games using iso+cue format , without wav or mp3. I'm using imgburn as burning software. I've tried mounting and imaging to bin+cue, no luck. Also tried mounting > TurboRip to iso/cue/wav > Tocfixer, also with no luck. anyone have an idea what i'm doing wrong?

Uh, so they are PCE games ? Paste a sample of the CUE. There's just not enough info on what's going on here. Did you check the CD-R burn with an emulator ?
The ISO file ranges 100-600 MB ? If so, it's a BIN file with an ISO extension. The extensions can be interchangeable. I mean, you can rename it to whatever you want, .IMG, but .BIN is usually the most popular choice for general mixed-mode CD layouts. CloneCD always uses .IMG for its full CD images, you get the idea.

I've tested the iso/cue with ootake and it seems to be working fine, i didn't try the burnt disc though. Here is the original cue sheet before any modifications:

I'm thinking it might be my burning software? Because some virtual drive software will load the cue while others will not. Anyone have some suggestions for software / burn settings?

Turns out it was just a bad rip.

Ah OK. I would've offered the usual advice, burn at slowest speed, try another CD-R brand if it works with an emulator but not real hardware, always make sure you burn with the CUE file, don't ever select the .ISO or .BIN file to burn with, etc.
