Picked up a new Turbo Everdrive 2.4 version and have static as soon as I power the system on. All of my Hucards and CD games are fine, it just happens with the ED. This is on a US Duo. Anyone familiar with this or is it possible the ED is the problem?
-
Same thing happens with my 2.2 and to a lesser extent, my 1.1.
-
That sucks. It's so bad I can't even turn volume up at all.
-
It really sucks because the TED is the only way to record many soundtracks.
-
Could it be possible the 7805's are getting weak? Little low on the 5v output when supplying the Ted?
-
I did contact krikzz and he replied the issue is being looked into. Hope there's a solution because this sucks.
-
Damn that sucks, I didn't have any issue with that on my briefcase setup. Hopefully krikzz gets back to you, he is a good guy.

Is the Duo modded in any way or is it stock? I have heard of issues with it working but never sound issues.

I get buzzing from both modded and unmodded consoles. But I know that many people don't notice that kind of stuff.

100% untouched US Duo, I purchased new. I have zero issues with any Hucards, or CD games. I tested on a US TG 16 and a PC Engine and all 3 have the issue with the Everdrive. A little static here and there I can live with but it's so bad, I can't turn volume up at all for any games. I have thought about trying different set of roms, just in case, but even without anything on the ED, as soon as I turned the system on, I got static.
