Is there a list of PCE games which save data to the various CD units? I've noticed a few from my collection (only one I can think of right now is Bomberman 93) save data to the CD unit and thus bypass the need for passwords. I tried searching but couldn't find one..

I thought on the front of the manuals to hucard's a small black battery icon shows that it provides back up support

I don't know if anyone's bothered to compile a complete listing, but there's gotta be hundreds of 'em that use the save system; if it's a CD, odds are it saves at least high scores.

Thanks! Actualy I was just curious about non-CD games which allow for saving?

Probably still hundreds of them. I don't remember any specific lists, but a site like pcecp (which was still down last time I checked) might have have a search/sort filter for them.

The old TURBOLIST had a FAQ listing the amount of memory required for the save files for many games. Not sure if it was complete, but it was a verified list...

There is absolutely something that lists HuCARDs with the backup memory function. I have no idea what it is though.
I know I don't have that many. Bomberman 93 and 94 have it, Formation Soccer on J League has it (a pretty good multiplayer sports game even today, btw) and some of the Momotaro Densetsu games.
