It's a balmy 27C (80F)in London Town today. I declare it the start of summer.
Anyone else warm?
-
Nope. Miserable and rainy here in New England.
-
Yep, we had 80F yesterday here in Chicago. Steam boiler was still running as of last week, will see if I can wind it done soon for summer. Time for a cleaning too, it actually broke 2 weeks ago, woke up freezing in the morning, had to spend $162 on a part.
-
Summer started a month or more ago here. Really not looking forward to the hottest days of actual summer, since it already got up to 33C a month ago. :/
-
Cold and rainy in Maryland, with no signs of letting up. Could use some warmer, dryer days.
-
I actually opened the windows yesterday and did my spring cleaning. They are open again today with a high of 69F. I think it was a high of 71F yesterday.
Very comfy and now I just need to go buy a new grill.
-
Cold and wet here in NorCal, but we've already had a lot of nice warm days. I wouldn't be surprised if this were the last rain of the season.
-
My busy semester-from-hell has officially ended. So YES. My summer is in full swing
-
It's definitely started here in Washington, and it's stayed at a comfy temperature for the most part.

I hate the summer.
Summer = hot and humid and balmy and shitty.
I love cold. Rainy. Gray.
I hope summer doesn't start until July.
-
Summer started 2 months ago here :P
-
Perfwct weather in Buffalo, NY today. 65 and cloudy, played some tennis and basketball and went for a nice walk. Probably will be snowing next week.
-
Yeah, it was mid-80s here in Kansas City. Summertime has arrived!
-
Nope, been cool & sprinkly lately in Southern Cali, at least in the Conejo Valley area. I'm grateful, since I can sweat like a mad man during summer, however, since Thursday when it started the sprinkly really cloudy weather, my head had been really foggy & it's hard to think. I think it's related to barometric pressure maybe? Either way, it sucks, been hard to concentrate on anything & is weighing me down emotionally, BLEH!
-
Forecast says it will be 90 here in Dallas on Tuesday. That's a high for the year so far I think but either way I'd argue that it's not really Summer until the high is over 100.
-
Beautiful weather out here in the high 70s-low 80s all weekend. Though we did just have a snowstorm a couple weeks ago. :| I normally don't hold my breath about summer starting until June.
-

I don't mind it was rainy for most of the week.Keeps the pollen down, good for my allergies  Then again summer use to be my favorite season but not any more.
-
It's still spring here, with temps in the 70s and a few rainy days.

O:)
This is true.
My favorite songs tend to be somber and sullen, too.
So...
Yup.
:)

LOL. You like Morrissey.
I do too.

I love* the bastard.
* To the extent that my fundamentally broken soul is capable of experiencing the concept that other humans refer to as "love"...

...and it was 97 today according to the thermometer outside. ...Summer has almost started.

97?
Unacceptable.
It was too hot today in NJ/NYC area, IMHO, and that was... 77 (but it felt hotter in direct sun).
-
Still below 90 here in Houston. I'm guessing theres still a bit of time before summer truly begins.
Summer or not, I need a vacation.
-
It officially started for me since spring semester is finally over. That, and it's hot.
-
I cut my grass in my winter jacket with flurries coming down. Weather was f@cked this weekend.
-
Sparky and I both had snow yesterday, how jealous are the rest of you?
-
45 last night in Wisconsin. f*ck the Midwest.
-

Being from south Texas, I must ask:
What is snow?
-
Snow is frozen water falling from the sky. Being from north Texas I've experienced the horrors of underprepared drivers sliding into things because of it. Yeah, we don't get much, but if someone so much as spills their drink there's too much ice on the road for us southerners to understand what to do.
Either way, Summer started yesterday. First day my thermometer was over 100. Head index of like 108 I heard, whatever that means.
-
Yeesh, it's not that hot here yet but close. We were in the 90s yesterday so the AC was finally turned on by my cheap ass. My pregnant wife and 3 year old were both appreciative.
-
It was 103 when I left for work tonight.
at 8:00 PM.
f*ck Nebraska.
-
That's when I went for my bike ride last night. 'Twas beautiful out and a refreshing ride.
f*ck yeah, Nebraska.
Don't be a pussy. :P

I'm in North Texas as well and yeah it is getting pretty warm down here. People in general over here are not great drivers from what I observed when we had rainfall last month. You would think you would slow down when it's pouring.
-
If you mean it's hot and I swear every time I walk out the door with smelly ball smell when I peel my undies off at the end of the day then yes. summer has started in Texas.
If you mean that I have summer vacation then noooooooo.
Those days are long since gone.
-
Summer weather didn't start up in md until mid of may.

yeah, but I work in a building full of arcade games and drunk people.
and it's my job to run around cleaning up after them.
I'm debating getting some hot pants and a half shirt.
-
He'll yeah... Heat index has been 100+ all week. Unusual for June
-
I'm not expecting a day without a heat index over a hundred until September at the earliest.
-
My apologies.
We have been very fortunate in NJ/NYC.
Some really gorgeous weather this Spring (some horribly balmy and humid crap, too, but that is what happens in NJ).
Don't worry ...it will be disgusting soon enough.
:)
-
32C (90F) today. That doesn't happen too often. [emoji905]
-
yeah very hot in UK today, we normally don't get this level of heat, reminds me of southern Spain or Miami.
-
So humid....melting
-
Heatwave a-coming, 90-100 degree F weather expected, glad I upgraded to a 14,000 BTU A/C that I got a good refurbished deal on ($299)!
-
It's 32C today and sticky as hell. Very rare for this in the second half of August.
-
It's upwards of 36C here in Disney Land Paris, making it hard to walk around.
-
Snow on the summit of Pikes Peak here... Winter is coming!

I'm not ready for this. My roof is still in shambles from the hailstorm and I need a new skylight :(

My roof in is similar condition, though after 3 months the contractors finally started working on it today.

I'm definitely ready for fall though!

That's a lovely looking house.

Hope it goes quickly for ya! This is my second roof in as many years as well so I'm a bit peeved about having to pay the deductible again. Here's my skylight :O

Thanks! It's soon to be painted, so those hail marks on the paint should be gone soon. :D

 Yikes! Which storm was that? Did you lose any windows? I was 100% sure I was going to have busted windows and skylights from the storm that hit at the beginning of June up here, but by some miracle nothing shattered. I'd hate to have to crawl up on the roof after that and tarp that hole!
-
This storm happened near the end of July and caused something like $350 million in damage in the Springs area which is nuts. It's like the 6th most damaging natural even in Colorado history. I am lucky that the only window really facing the storm on my house was the skylight. I lost a bay window as well but that's hard to avoid given the shape.
-
Summer is constant in Florida, I went up to Canada a few weeks ago, expecting see a magical land of snow and ice, with maybe a few white walkers. Just more humid hot weather
-
Boy this is a real oven this year. Temps in the high 20s to low 30s are very rare in middle of September.
