Title: WTB: Duo CD-ROM Plastic Replacement?
Post by: Depht on May 19, 2016, 05:18:59 AM
My apologizes on the awkward post, but I'm looking for a possible replacement for the clear plastic cutout on the  CD ROM door? Does anyone have one lying around they'd like to sell? Or have any possible suggestions?

The OCD in me knows something should be in that little window, so I'd love to figure out the best way to do so.

If need be you can just buy some all-purpose plexiglass from a hardware store and cut out a piece that works. I think I bought a smaller 6x10 sheet for maybe $5. I like to use a metal hacksaw for cutting cause the finer teeth won't stick in the plastic as easy as a wood cutting blade would. Then used some two part epoxy to hold it in place.
