I don't know a whole lot about the game, but, it's Falcom, it's on Vita, & it's being physically released next year....which surprises me a bit.

I'm just glad to read the first break I've seen between Falcom and the criminal cheats of X.X.XSEED Games! I could actually buy it just to support this Aksys company and Falcom by extension!
I suppose XSEED likely didn't care about this title, but yeah, it's nice to see it won't have their fingerprints on it regardless and hopefully it's a sign Falcom will do more US localizations without them!

Woot! Xanadu Next is supposed to land on PC (presumably Steam) sometime this year as well.

Yeah, I figured Falcom and XSEED were gonna be lovers forever, I'm glad the Vita version is coming out. I wonder if they only passed because they want to bring out the PS4 version instead. Hmm. I've only got a vita though and not PS4 so I'll probably snag this one.

I really doubt PS4 will ever be in the cards for me (PS3 I can just borrow when I need it for the 2 MGS games I bought), I just don't play much videogames anymore to justify more console purchases with huge retro backlogs and a catalog of PC games to choose from. I always loved Falcom's PC products far more than anything anyway, so as long as it's on Steam, all good.
Just a note, this, whatever it is, it doesn't have much to do with the other Xanadus apparently. Whatever the case, looks like another good use of Falcom's JRPG game engine, so I'm on board!

Yeah it was about time for Xanadu Next.
I was very pleased to hear about the Tokyo Xanadu release. I may pre-order it but I'm not sure yet. Gameplay looks pretty fun.
