- Ninja Spirit
- Gate of Thunder
- Prince of Persia
- Camp California
- Shadow of the Beast
- Riot City

TG16 promo tape is cooler because it shows a lot of 5-sec japanese game clips, kind of like those "ALL GAMES FOR CONSOLE X in 1 hour" videos on youtube.

I remember the TG16 promo tape and that is what made me get a turbo in 1990.  I remember seeing the clips of the Japanese coming soon games and being blown away by the Ys clips with full voice.  I would watch that video over and over and drool at how much better it was than my nes lol.

I worked on the old man for months and finally got my Turbo in Summer 1990 because I won some lame award for being an outstanding student in 8th grade lol.

I wonder what percentage of Turbo Duo owners bought the system largely because of "coming soon" JP releases, the majority of which were never even sorta close to release. I know I'm in that group.

I enjoy how embarrassingly bad this is (and how many incorrect things it says)

I had this VHS promo but I was testing out new VCR models and I forgot it inside this Goldstar one I decided to return in favor of another... Didn't realize it until it was much too late. But whatever, it lives on with Youtube. Heh. Who hooks up a VCR anymore ? I still have a decent S-VHS model if I ever need it, but it sits unused. I thought the need to possibly transfer tapes to digital might be handy, but anything I might've wanted transferred probably already got done, either professionally remastered or by other fans if it only existed on VHS.

I've got an SVHS player as well, there are definitely some weird old movies that don't have a dvd or proper digital format. none of them are amazingly good, but, why not.

I've had both of these tapes for over 20 years.  The one with the orange label has all the previews of import games at the end of it.  I don't even have a VHS player anymore.

I had those playing on a table at MGC this year. The orange label tape is classic... So many laughable parts with the two kids losing at games and "dancing" to CD music. The white label tape has the most sentimental value to me. Used to give me chills back in the day with that intro sequence and the awesome sneak preview of the 2 MEGABIT MEGAHITS

Ah, for some reason, I thought/assumed you discovered the system late in life as an adult.
