Shit looks so dope!

Awesome.
-
amazing
also love that it's widescreen :P
I thought it should have been pc engine grey tho or white / black
-
Pretty sweet and clean looking, but the bright yellow is too much and it should be 4:3.

But then you won't be able to see it floating in the sea as a floatation device.

Nice ! Very clean build.

3 fixes and it's perfect...
4:3 TOGGLE I don't mind the 16x9 but for purists.
RGB out
Different case color.
Otherwise it's pretty damn awesome.

why the heck would you make a 4:3 console widescreen? everything is stretched! the rest is nice, but what the heck. a toggle would help!

Because people are f*cking stupid. Well, in this case it's probably because wide LCDs are easier to find. Making a toggle would be even stupider. It's like admitting you know what mode is totally worthless but you implemented it anyway because idiots will bitch that it's not wide.

I left a comment about the 4:3 on TubeYou earlier today... I am sure we will find out if 4:3 is an option.
-
Pretty impressive. Looks cool but needs to be a different color.
Would have been cool if he was able to keep the expansion port and have it work with CD attachments or RAU-30 like the LT.

I think this is amazing. I love how people are quick to criticize that it's in widescreen. First of all, it's far cheaper to get screens of this kind in widescreen, in this day and age a 4:3 screen would have to be custom made. A video toggle option requires there be some other form of video component to control the ability to do so. As it is, there may not have been enough room in this unit to put in such a board. The dude is simply showing off his creation, which is very impressive. Good thing he's not here on the forums or he might be discouraged.

Well, you may think 4:3 is trivial, but it isn't.
If this helps: I'd prefer (emulation+4:3) over (real hardware+widescreen)...and I'm Mr. Original Hardware.
Anyway, because LT2 *is* amazing I didn't complain about anything (until, just now).
:)

I agree with all of guys complaining about the screen ratio and color choice for the case.

I don't mind the color choice for the case.
It makes it easy to spot :)

Yeah, I love absolutely everything about it except for the pointlessly wide screen. If it won't play 4:3 it's worthless but still I love it and am super impressed. This is terrific work.

My parents used to say that to me all the time because I was so picky when I was younger
-
yeah, I actually like the color as well - same color as the 16-shot LCD thing, basically. The widescreen, I get that wide screens are basically the only available things now, but playing a game in a stretched aspect ratio is just not a thing.
-
That is pretty cool indeed, props to the maker!
-
Very impressed! Would love to see one in black with orange trim w/ a TG-16 logo.
-
That one could be wide. I wouldn't complain.
-
I don't have audio right now, but this thing is pretty neat. The widescreen is a bit lame, but the effort he put into making this is great. I actually like the bright yellow color as well. Makes a bold statement. PCE for life!!!!

Exactly, it makes a bold statement.
You can't lurk, even in the shadows, without alerting everyone within 100 feet, that you are obeying.
