Title: PC engine plus CD interface unit
Post by: shugs81 on August 05, 2016, 04:04:19 PM
Hi...

So... I bought a potentially broken CD ROM unit and I was wondering if there was any other way to connect the two units together other than the suitcase looking thing??

Also... IFA there isn't.... How much should I be looking to pay for such a thing... Ta peeps!

I'm having a hard time comprehending what you're saying in broken. The CD unit itself? The IFU? The CD ROM 2 needs an IFU or the TG16 CD dock.

Sorry.... Booze induced dribbling....

I have a PC engine on its way.... And I have a CD ROM unit on its way.. The CD ROM was listed as works some of the time...

I was wondering if you can only connect the devices with the interface unit.... I'm assuming so from your response...

I apologise for my incoherent ramblings....

Oh okay. So you got a PC Engine and a CD-ROM by itself without the IFU? With those it's usually one of two things. Lens is poop or might need a new gear.
