Title: slow loading? pc engine duo-r

i notice recently that my pc engine duo-r take longer to load with a cd game. I'm using only originals cd.
by example, Ys IV, when looking at a cinematic, at the end there a black screen and the opening sequence is suppose to play but it take like 20 seconds to load. i don't remember it been that slow. anyone can tell me if there is a problem or it's just me?

Does it load slowly ever time you start up the game or is it completely random when this happens? Random slow loading is normal for DUOs. Meaning if it only happens 1 out of every 10 times or so then that's fine. However, if it's slow all of the time then sounds like some lens adjustment may be in order.
