Hisou Kihei X-Serd on PC engine hucard has been translated.
http://www.romhacking.net/translations/2780/
Looks like a turn based strategy game featuring mecha. It's the predecessor to recently translated genesis game Vixen 357.

I assume this will work on an Everdrive via real hardware. I'll test it when I have free time. Looks cool.
-
This looks good, will check it out today.

Gaia no Monsho has also been translated and is considered the predecessor to Langrisser.

Author says it works on actual hardware but not Magic Engine emulator
-
Cool. Thanks for posting OP.
-
Thanks for the heads up. Grabbing the patch now.
-
Great stuff, looks like my evening is now planned ;-)
-
'Tis cool to see more translations for the ol' Turbob.
-
Woah fun! New translation out of nowhere :)
-
Woo hoo! Great news!
-
Cool!

Pretty cool! This game has caught my eye for a while.

There's one more PC-Engine game from that series, Gai Flame. I don't think that one was translated though. The author has one more PC-Engine project in the pipeline, but the only thing he mentioned is that it features mechs as well (and that it's not Gai Flame).
-
Brilliant! I hadn't realized that it was a PCE game when I saw the announcement thread on romhacking.net.
It looks like they did a really nice job on translating this game ... woo hoo!
-
Interesting! Now I have even more reason to figure out how to use my Turbo Everdrive.
-
The readme file is interesting. I don't recognize any of the hacker names in the group (nes or pce, or 65x related scene). Looks like their kinda new to the PCE, but here's hoping they tackle more hucard games.
-
i have completed this game without knowing most of the story ( only completed 6 years ago ) but i got to last level during 1994 once

They were certainly passionate about the SERD series of games. That was the driving force. Hopefully they will tackle another series that was on PCE.

Fantastic I love this game. What better reason for me to play through it again. The 1st level is so bleh but after that it gets much better.

Crossing fingers for Blood Gear

X-Serd.
Isn't this one of the games featured in the Turbografx-16 tape? I must try this out.
-
Cool, looks quite interesting and it's a game I haven't played. Thanks for posting.
-
Does anyone have a patched file they can send me?
I seem to get problems on my macbook.
-
Anyone remember that guy on Facebook who couldn't figure out zip files and wanted to pay someone to extract a zip full of roms onto his micro SD card for his everdrive? He was ready to ship!
Why do I find that so funny?
This is hysterical.
-
Now I'm not sure if I'm confusing this forum with another one, but wasn't someone claiming that he did a translation hack or something and yet couldn't extract a ZIP folder in his mac? Is that what Digi.k is referring to?

This.

He did a Spanish(?) translation of Neutopia, but couldn't show anyone because he didn't know how to unzip something. When he finally posted it, it was someone else's old German hack.

You have to appreciate how absurd that incident was.
Brilliant.

Just found out about this, solid work translation folks...
