He is surely basing price on the overall quality of the game rather trying to take advantage of collectard nutjobs.

Man I better act now or else I'll never get a copy, seller even says so himself!
-
Don't you guys understand that this is very rare. It says so right in the title of the listing.
-
When did Roy move to Minnesota?

dude, come on. why would you even chime in on this after trying to scalp a mysterious song for $75?
very noble of you to discount it to $67.99

Can you even imagine owning something and when you are tired of it selling it for anything less than the absolute highest possible price you can get? I mean, who would do that!? Crazy, right? You should always start around double what you paid for it and the modify up or down from there, even if guy can still buy it from the publisher's own webpage for MSRP, doesn't matter. Always f*ck the next guy as hard as possible. It will give him the character needed to the redouble the price again when he sells it next week.
It's called capitalism, look it up. Always. For thousands of years past and certainly for thousands more, without end, forever. It's God's will. There are no side effects. Nothing can go wrong. Sure, we're on course for a $10,000 Mario Duckhunt within three years but it's OK because capitalism will all make us rich enough to afford it. Inflation is a normal part of capitalism.
I've done my research, now you do yours.
a$$holes...

No pog, no pubes, and no signature. This is clearly the inferior bundle of sticks version.

The newest Negativeland album ships with a portion of a recently deceased member's cremated remains.
Kinda ruined LEs for me, nowhere left to go.
-
When did Roy move to Minnesota?
lol
-
he ended up fixing it because he thought it was rarer than it was, since his friend sold him it (and probably ripped him off), lol

Did you get one of these? Heard the story on NPR and wanted it just cause it is so ridiculous, but the guy wasn't big enough so his ashes sold out too quickly...
-
so that wasn't a good price?
-
Insanity for $252.83 shipped. (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Insanity-Turbografx-16-PC-Engine-Ultra-Rare-Region-Free-/272501692303?hash=item3f725dd78f:g:XSAAAOSwt5hYZIro)
My signed copy with soundtrack disc must be worth $500+!!!
-
I offered him $1 and he lowered the price to $200. Strike now while the iron is hot!
Mwuhahahaha! Did you try a counter offer of $2?

I did not. My way of listening to this band is as random and chaotic as they are. I own nothing! I just dig in when I get a chance. My favorite release is The ABCs of Anarchism with Chumbawamba and Chomsky.

Isn't Arkhan still sitting on hundreds of leftover copies of Insanity, because it didn't cost much more for the next tier in quantity?
This is the message I sent the seller:
Here is some useful info which will convince any hardcore collector to buy the game:
http://www.aetherbyte.com/store.html
I wonder if they will update the description with that link?
EDIT: Wow, instant response:
Here's some useful advice: stop harrasing us or you and your SJW buddies will be reported to eBay.
Arkhan, can you please list Insanity on eBay with a quantity of like 50 available, maybe for $25 to cover fees? At least while this friendly gentlemen's listing remains active?
-
I couldn't let nully have all the fun, so I offered $2. Maybe he'll report me.
-
We should all list our copies for $1 less than his asking price, with free shipping. And copy his auction word for word, even use his picture.
I thought about something like that, but it would inly create the perception among hardcore collectors that it is the real value. Especially if one is foolish enough to buy it at that price.
Aetherbyte having an eBay listing at a reasonable price is the only way to prevent gouging.
-
List it for $40. If anyone bites, buy one off ark's page and spend the difference on a bottle of Night Train.
-
Looks like my link to the Aetherbyte store worked. They took down the eBay listing.

Physical copies aren't available at the store link, unless I'm missing something.
It did get me to finally purchase the ROM though. :)

He removed the original listing but added another: clicky (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Insanity-Turbografx-16-PC-Engine-Ultra-Rare-Region-Free-/272502523607?hash=item3f726a86d7:g:XSAAAOSwt5hYZIro). I tried making an offer on the new listing, but the sandy vag has me blocked.

That's for Atlantean. There's still some Insanitys.

Wow, what an intentionally rotten person.

i messaged him too. we'll see if he responds.

I feel like bidding up to $19... but I'm sure I'll be instantly declined...
-
I was prepared to make a generous offer too, a shame they took it down.

lol
lol
-
lol. why are people so retarded.
I'm about to just list them myself on eBay for 1$ less than these simptards and see what they do.

That would do more harm than good

I like the idea of completely duplicating the entire ad and listing a total quantity of like 50 for sale at the normal prices.

This is a much better idea.
-
Just out of curiousity since I sadly missed this whole "Atlantean" thing......what is the normal price?
EDIT: Just saw the picture at the top...didn't load for me at first. So this thing is still available for 20 bucks? Huh? Where? When and if I ever have the monies for this again I'd love to know where to look. Apparently not on eBay. :D
-
Atlantian is sold out forever a garage made HuCARD. It's priceless.
Insanity was made in Insane quantities and will always be $20.
-
Ugh, got the games mixed up, so sorry. Thought this was only about "Atlantean" due to the thread title and didn't pay attention. :)
Okay, so seriously...if I ever find an oppotunity to get the game, what would be a fair price?
