Really great article on the back story of Final Fantasy 7. Definitely my favorite 3d FF game..

I am only partway through this but I have enjoyed reading it during bits of downtime this morning.  Polygon seems to so such amazing pieces, their one on Street Fighter II was quite cool as well.
