Title: FS/FT: TG16 Bonk's Adventure CIB & Bravoman CIB
Post by: jonebone on March 30, 2017, 02:46:32 AM
Bonk's Box SOLD
Bravoman SOLD
Bonk's Adventure CIC remains, $30 shipped

A couple of extras that I would trade for other similarly valued games, or sell outright.  They both have some general overall wear.  Bonk's has some slight sunfading on the front, Bravoman is missing an inner tab and styrofoam.  They are priced accordingly, pics to follow.

Bonk's Adventure - $50
Bravoman - $30
Shipping $3 per (USA), take both for free shipping.

"Low value" games I'd consider in trade (cash could offset to even out):
Cyber Core
Deep Blue
Double Dungeons
Dragon Spirit
Dungeon Explorer
Moto Roader
Pac-Land
Takin' It to the Hoop
Talespin
TV Sports Hockey
Yo Bro

If interested send a message, thanks!

You forgot about that pesky buyer protection that ebay (sometimes) offers.

Bonk's Box sold, Bravoman CIB sold.

Bonk's Adventure CIC can go for $30 shipped.

Prices are below ebay contrary to some people's opinions here.  And eBay fees for a Top Rated seller are 8%, just to clarify some more false information.

come back when you have VGA graded items to sell.  only looking for NES or SNES please.
stop spreading the stuff around that can actually be played, it muddies the waters for collectors.

@Tbone, don't pay insertion fees...

You get 50 free listings a month, Final fees are 10% or 8% if you get Top-Rated.  There's no reason to give eBay anymore than you need too...

I see.  I am not a top seller unfortunately.  You need to sell over 100 items per year to qualify as well as hit other marks.  I don't sell that much.  It certainly pays to be a top seller I see.  Keep up the great work.

What's your eBay tag?

In my experience, most sellers will go outside of Ebay just to get the deal done. Save dat 5-8% or w/e while going to hell for ripping off an 8.5 billion dollar company

You have to pander to Ebay's bullshit too. I think I qualify for everything but I do not accept returns. I know people can force a return by lying anyway, but I'd rather not make it easier for someone to have buyer's remorse.

Ugh.  Take your shitty aggregation sites back to nintendoage.  Using these to prove a point shows how out of touch you are.

Look at this listing for Beyond Shadowgate
http://www.ebay.com/itm/152456385580?rmvSB=true
"Sold" for $316.00

Then, look at this one
http://www.ebay.com/itm/152463189725?rmvSB=true
"Sold" for $256.00
And look at the description...

SURPRISE SURPRISE, they are BOTH in the chart as "sold".
These sites are bullshit.

So, because there are a small percentage of non-paying bidders out there, there can be no such thing as a pricing set?  That's what happens when you have algorithms that compile sold data.

Same thing if a "Complete" game sells with coverless manual or absolutely trashed box to bring the price down.  Or if a Gem Mint copy sells for twice the going rate.

Those sites are much better resources then some idiot on a forum complaining about how prices used to be and being out of touch with reality today.

Either way, most of it sold within 4 hours of posting so my prices were spot on again.  Find something else to complain about like you always do.

To be honest i'm surprised GVN didn't filter those out. A little while ago it seems to have dominated over VGPC, because of how much more accurate their prices were. I guess these price charting websites still have a little ways to go.

"a little"  lol
until they have a way to only report on paid listings and develop some kind of "look-through" into lots, then these will remain just a loose mess of ebay and amazon "sold" items.

God help us if they're using sold listings from Amazon. Some of their prices are a joke. I haven't checked for TG/PCE, but with other consoles it's just laughable.

It's easy to spot a unpaid listing if you search it, because its red right? I just assumed there was something in the coding that would distinguish it from a finished paid listing. Or at least SOME protocol with GVN so listings like this don't slip through. They do have quite a bit of ways to go still. I use it mostly when i'm at flea market or at a store looking at games, just to get a sense of how the pricing is.

Things I've sold before I have then not seen show up in the sold listings as well as them leaving unpaid listings in the sold results. It's all about what fits their trending price agenda.

the bottom line is the OP is selling these 2 games complete in boxes for the same price these games sell on eBay with case. The moderator posted some links, problem is those were starting bids at 20-50 bucks. Who knows what those game gonna wind up selling for. 80 bucks a pop? maybe?

P.S. Bravoman in box should cost more than Bonks in box. OP I would sell that for 50 also.

Bonk's Adventure was a $35 starting price and a $50 BIN, so you're correct that it might have ended higher if the BIN weren't an option, but the fact remains that it sold for $50 (ergo "ebay pricing").  It took nearly three hours to find a buyer, too, meaning it wasn't ridiculously underpriced, else some reseller would've snagged it within minutes.

Bravoman did start at $15 instead of a penny or a dollar, but it was a seven day auction and had multiple bidders, so I've no idea what kind of foolish point you're trying to make.

like I said, the reason this forum is dead is because of moderator like Necromancer. a year ago there were more postings here, 3 years ago even more. This guy has ruined this forum with his nazi attitude.

Considering almost all of my moderation duties revolve around approving new accounts, moving threads to their correct sub-forums, and updating high-score threads, I don't know how me being a moderator makes much of a difference.  Maybe you think it'd be better if people still had to wait weeks to get approved?

This forum is just 12 people policing anyone new who signs up.

Of the last 100 posts (as far back as the 'recent posts' feature goes), only this one involves any negativity towards newer members; even then, this thread is no longer really about jonebone and would be dead and buried if I didn't keep correcting your lies.

The bulk of new users (those that actually post anyway) are given a warm welcome and have their questions answered.  It's a shame that trolls like you only see the negative, ignoring the positive posts that make up the vast majority of this forum's content.

You have destroyed the community. I am glad to be part of the TG-16 community, just not thru your forum. Get rid of Necromancer and maybe everyone will come back.

Funny, I've been here a lot longer than three years.  Maybe the slowed pace has more to do with the popularity of Facebook, but don't let logic and common sense stop your tears.

I'm a relatively new member here and I've had no issue. Some people might be a bit gruff to others at times (generally deserved imo) but better for that to be allowed than to ban everyone that hurts the feelings of another user (see NA and neogaf).

I wonder whose troll account is KarlMarx? This could be a good idea for a poll thread. It is kind of hard to narrow down the candidates given the breadth of Necro's fan club.

Almost every post of his i've seen is him starting/feeding conflict he can find

Note my dirty sock image.

Maybe we need counter socks named after historical figures. Perhaps Joseph Stalin could put him in his place.

like I said, the reason this forum is dead is because of moderator like Necromancer. a year ago there were more postings here, 3 years ago even more. This guy has ruined this forum with his nazi attitude. This forum is just 12 people policing anyone new who signs up. You have destroyed the community. I am glad to be part of the TG-16 community, just not thru your forum. Get rid of Necromancer and maybe everyone will come back.
He's always had that same attitude...for forever.  He's never even really banned anybody minus one or two crazies.  This place polices itself.  It's not like the Neo forums were "a certain mod" will either just f*ck with your account cause of their mood for the day, or constant other forum members screaming "ban plz" all the time. When you have been here 10 f*cking years you can police who ever the hell you want.  So many have come here to take advantage of the forums and use it for how they see fit.  If you're not being idiot then there is nothing to worry about.  It's common sense.

Many laughs coming from this, I couldn't agree more. It's unbreathable just looking at screen shots i've seen from their members postings.

That's just some people.  The neo forum actually has some solid members. Pcefx and neo share a lot of members.  Coexist and all that jazz.

Lol Necro and Rot are like worlds apart on that matter, and the one who claims that all other forums are overmodded actually bans/probates more people than everyone else combined. Guess who that is (hint: are you locked into posting only @ Fighting Street yet?)

I checked out his profile. He looks kind of familiar, and especially his alias. Game over Johnny, wonder if he's on the forums here

He's on Sega16 a bit (as 'timemaster' I think) and he is very into the collecting side of stuff with a full US Sega collection and a couple other Nintendo fullsets as well.  I think he's much more active on Nintendo/SegaAge , but I don't think he's on PCEFX at all.

I will say, he has had a very methodical take on sussing out all the weirdness of US Sega releases which is always neat for me to read about.  He also is the only other person besides myself that actually collected the US Pico set which I find hilarious when you said other people are actually into the Pico now.
