I own a duo, and a TG16 w/CD + SS card. Can I play any Jap games on my US systems??
What is ACD format?
-
What do you mean by "cd + ss card"?
A US turbo duo can play Japanese CD and SCD games, but not hucards, games w/ custom CD cards, or ACD games.
If you get an adaptor and the appropriate card, you can play anything on a duo but Supergrafx games.
the ACD format was the last upgrade to the CD drive for the pc engine. There were 2 cards, the pro for separate units, and the duo for duos. There were only a few games, mostly SNK fighters, but a few other goodies (especially saphire)

Regular CD atachment for turbografx + super system card or 3.0 card is what I meant. sorry for the abrevs.
I was looking into buying a Arcade Card Pro and Converter to run it as you mention. I looks like it might be easier finding a Jap version DUO compared to how scarce everything is. Maybe I'll just sell the whole collection, who knows.
I've owned and managed to keep my collection Mint since the first few turbo's hit the US. $399 for Turbografx 16 with Keith Courage at Radio Shack. I guess in some ways I'm just to attached.

Found someone selling a Kisado. He says $175 USD new sealed and shipped. Does that sound resonable?

No, it isn't reasonable. But he'll probably get it anyway. As the saying goes, a sucker is born every minute...

OK, well how much is SCD of STRIDER worth? Is it really rare or is this a joke? I mean strider for genesis is only a few bucks.
