Yes, and I would guess that there would be a delay before everyone is synced up properly.  After that, you can send your Mii's to one/another.

Edit: TurboSage: I sent you my Mii... You should see it when you get to the Mii Channel.  (Everyone else is unavailable at the moment).  I will attempt to add everyone else that posts from guyjin's post and down tomorrow.

OH, so that's who WildXena is! I was wondering who that was. I also have some other chick I found in my Mii plaza, I don't remember the name off hand.

I have way too many to list, so if you see any wacky ones, then they are probably mine :D .

My personal Mii is Keelan.

I got a few 'travelers' wondering around my Parade from Guygin, and steph.

Pretty cool stuff-

Does anyone have a Gaara traveling around?  I got one, and was just trying to figure out where he came from- the Mii looks pretty sweet!

You're welcome!

I sent you a reply Wii-mail along with my Mii. :) I didn't get your Mii in my Mii channel, I think you need to send it through the Mii channel (details in the Wii-mail). ;)

I think it takes a bit of time for Wii's to sync with each-other in order for them to "acknowledge" that people have added each other in their address books.  I don't get that much of a chance to play with the Wii, so it might have synced quickly.

Ahh good, so I am not the only one who creates Miis of their pets :D . The one of my dog Tootsie is hilarious, she looks like the Chinese dude off Gremlins.

UPDATE: From wikipedia "Early-created Miis as well as those encountered in Mii Parades may show up as spectators in some games." That's awesome! I love that they can be spectators!

That Fat Albert was made by me :D . The Japanese are really generous about making Mii's not look so fat :P .

Haha, yes it's awesome. You can play games like Wii Sports and have your own Miis or other Miis sent from other people appear in the game and can even play as them. I love playing Baseball so I have teams full of randomly generated Miis. Here comes the wind-up pitch by MurmmyWakka and wow a pop fly hit by Fat Albert! Oh, oh, looks like Bonk is under the ball and is about to catch it and.... and..... OUT!

I love it :D .

PS: In case Joe's doesn't work this is his alternate Code: 463277454375348709091289423184083286482347364987127403447956874582369826184798387534985463277454375348709091289423184083286482347364987127403447956874582369826184798387534985463277454375348709091289423184083286482347364987127403447956874582369826184798387534985463277454375348709091289423184083286482347364987127403447956874582369826184798387534985463277454375348709091289423184083286482347364987127403447956874582369826184798387534985463277454375348709091289423184083286482347364987127403447956874582369826184798387534985463277454375348709091289423184083286482347364987127403447956874582369826184798387534985

Looks like Wii games are finally starting to go online too, so it was a good time to bump this thread with the update.

Since my Wii was defective, Nintendo replaced it in order to avoid having to do battle with me.  But during the process, my friend code changed.  The new number is:

3228 0935 7452 7687

EDIT:  I don't have Wiiconnect turned on.  I guess that's how my original unit got fried.  When Wiiconnect24 is on and the console is off, the GPU stays on for some reason, and the fan is off.  Just feel your console.  Notice how hot it is!  Now turn it on for awhile.  It will actually cool down.  I'm not sure if I can get friends unless Wiiconnect is turned on 24 hours a day.

Really? That sucks.

My Wii is unplugged when I'm not using it. I was about to post my Wii friend code and add you all as friends, but I guess I can't do that unless it's hooked up all the time. That's totally lame. f*ck you, Nintendo.

That's one thing i don't like about the wii.

The friends code isn't automantic makes ya wounder why,Nintendo can't have a better system in place like what ms has for the 360.

OK, my friend code is:

6396 4281 3486 6920

Everybody add me now. Because if you don't, I probably won't have my Wii turned on next time!

Personally I dig the friend codes because I believe everyone's names should be long numbers. Maybe I should change my PCEFX user name to my Wii number.

I typically always have WiiConnect24 on and haven't had any hardware problems yet. I might start turning that off after hearing Joe's story though.

I added everyone but it won't let me send them any messages. The only conclusion I can come to is that nobody added me as a friend.

I too noticed that the Wii gets VERY hot when turned off with WiiConnect24 turned on.  What you can do (instead of unplugging the system) is hold down the power button for like 5+ seconds...It will then shut all the way off.

Has anyone tried one of these (http://www.amazon.com/dp/B000SES27Q?tag=websimarkeres-20&camp=14573&creative=327641&linkCode=as1&creativeASIN=B000SES27Q&adid=0B6CHF8TXNDDDRK35SQT&)?  They should keep everything cool when WiiConnect24 is on, but the LEDs would have to have an 'accident'.

Now that I've gotten my Nintendo Wii and had been able to use it, I can now give my Wii Number to those who are interested in having me in their address book.

Although I had stated that I would only give it in my "I Had Finally Gotten My Nintendo Wii." topic as a request through private message, this was only done to prevent any unwanted individuals from doing any potential harm to my Wii service. However, now remembering that the codes are to prevent any circumstances like this from occuring, I will freely give it out here.

The Friend Code for my Wii console is:

7738 4749 5518 5921

Keep in mind that I keep my Nintendo Wii unpluged when not in use to save a bit of energy, therefore meaning that I may not be able to recieve any sent items at these times. However, I will have my Wii in use for most of the day now, so, in best indication through the PCEngineFX boards, if I am offline and it is not nighttime, I am probably playing with my Nintendo Wii.

I will add several of you on here, as well, in consideration that the users are trustable and of utter importance. If you would like to request me to add you in my Address Book/contacts, or if you would like me to give you my friend code individualy, then you can message me to do so, and I will provide this for most folks around.

I have yet to see the benefit of the Wii Friend Code.  The only things it allows you to do is send e-mails, Miis and pictures from Wii to Wii.  Online games all have their own individual friend codes so for each online title you play, you'll have to swap new friend code numbers again.  What a great online system, thanks Nintendo!

Interesting....can you do this from a computer? Like let's say I wanted to email you (FW: Why SNES > Genesis), could I just do something like 3228093574527687@nintendo.com or would you have to fire up Opera and check via webmail?
Title: Re: Wii friend codes?
Post by: Joe Redifer on February 26, 2008, 08:22:30 PM
Yes, it does work that way as well.  I think the Wii owner needs to add your e-mail address first... I think.  However you cannot send nudie pictures.  I tried (just for fun) and Nintendo sends the e-mail sans pic.  You can send any other picture.  They look at them all.

Are you SERIOUS? Are you telling me they have some guy sitting in front of a computer all day reading everyone's e-mail to make sure it doesn't include naked pictures? Give me a break.

Or does the system filter out ALL picture attachments?

I don't know if they still do it, though.  So it'd be best to try it first to see if it is still in effect.

The test:

Send your Wii 2 e-mails, both with a picture attached.  Include some random text like "Hello there here is a nice picture" but make sure they both have different text so you can tell them apart when you read them on your Wii.  Don't use keywords like "porn", etc.  Attach a nudie porn pic to one e-mail.  Attach a regular pic (like of a family or something) to the other.  Wait.  Wait.  Wait.  Wait.  Wait.  Check your Wii-mail.  Do you even have both e-mails?  Do they both have pics attached, or just one of them?  Which one?

Okay I have finally added schnuth and Game and Watch Kirby :) .

FINALLY :P! I've been waiting for a bit of a while for someone else to add me in! I've sent Keranu my five TurboGrafx-16 character-realted Miis, which are J.J.; Jeff, Air Zonk, my own-created Bonk, and Black Bomber (called "CoolBlack" to refer to Bomberman Land: Touch! since I was unable to fit the originally intended name), and I've also got a couple of Miis in the Mii parade at long last, as well, being Keelan and a Mario (was it he who created the Mario?). Lastly, Keranu sent me a message that simply said "Lazers!" that I have replied to.

Now all I need are Black Tiger, Joe Redifer, PCEngineFX, TurboSage, and Guyjin, and I'm all set for the current contacts I have (no one else has sent me their Wii number, and for the other users here who've posted theirs, based on their activities, I can't really establish strong trust with them or they may not find the opportunity to include me). I hope these fellows find the time to put me in their contacts (and Nat, too, since he's lonely :|).

I see. Hopefully, that'll be able to settle, assuming that you do travel a lot (I've taken my Wii with me on my recent trip to New Jersey), since it is still indicated with mine that you have yet to set things up. Rememeber that there are three different connections that can be allowed to be used on the Nintendo Wii in settings at once.

I'm glad you liked them :). Nat had sent me a message on the Wii Message Board commenting that he thought the Miis I sent to him were cool. Can I ask who are Mathis and Cubby, however? I'm pretty sure I've heard somewhere that Mathis was a boss in one of the Dungeon Explorer games (the final boss of Dungeon Explorer II, I believe), but I'm not quite positive if Cubby is a bear or a dog (or a video game character, even) ](*,).

Hahaha, Maths and Cubby aren't video game related :D ! Mathis is based off Judge Mathis (http://judgemathistv.warnerbros.com/) and Cubby is one of my dogs (along with the Tootsie Mii I sent). I also sent my parekeets too I think.
