First off, Happy New Year! Also, as usual I'm late as shit. Well for this month I wanted something like a beat em' up. So I went with Galaxy Deka Gayvan. I'm sure some might need to burn or emulate this one, but it's worth playing. I haven't given this one much time but it's a decent game. It's more action than beat em up, but it still plays like one. You play as Hiro Aoyama and Michiko Akasaka and are trying to stop the criminal mastermind Ballas. Plays like every other brawler plus you collect power ups and use them to turn in to superheroes Gayvan and Mittchi.  Game is also 2 player and even has a small vs fighter mode. You can use either the two main characters or 3 different enemies. Hope you enjoy!

Not very deep, but still a fun little romp!

I've never played the game before.  Pricing it on ebay, it looks a bit out of my reach.  With that said, I watched a bit on youtube and it looks interesting.  It seems something like a cross between Kung Fu and Double Dragon with aesthetics similar to Shockman.  If it was a quarter the price I would definitely track down a copy.

Price to me is overinflated for the actual game play. I've only got a stage or two in, but it seems repetitive and basic. Gameplay grafx are clean and solid, but that character art on the intro and cut scenes could use some work.  I do like the fart noise when you defeat an enemy.
