Title: Turbo Grafx problem
Post by: Playmore on September 04, 2002, 02:59:00 AM
I have just purchased a new Turbo Grafx (US) and I dont have the type of connection for the aerial that it has been supplied with! In fact I dont even recognise this type of connection.

Could you advise how this works, or what is needed to make this connect to a UK TV.

Thank you.

Oi!!
You may have more problems than you realize.
The US system is NTSC, not compatible with PAL televisions.
I am assuming that you are talking about the RF modulator which has an RCA plug on one end and coax connector on the other (funny looking hex shaped screw-on deal with a little wire sticking out of the middle).
Since I have no idea what kind of inputs your TV may have on it, you might want to consider picking up a TurboBooster which will convert your TG16's output to standard composite video and L/R stereo audio output--you'll still need something to convert NTSC to PAL though....
hope i've been at least a little helpful
