Yo sage, you seem like a useful resource. Speaking of controllers like the TurboPad and stuff, you know where I can buy a TurboStick?
-
Unfortunately, I've NEVER had one  Heck, I've never even seen one. I would look around ebay, if you want I can keep an eye out for ya- What kind of price range are you looking for?

TZD still had them brand new up until within the past year. I'm pissed I didn't buy more of them when I had the chance.

I don't wanna pay too much. Maybe like $5-$15 USD.
-
I wouldn't pay more than $20 for sure. That's what I payed for my brand new one a few months ago

Just saw an auction for a new TurboStick (http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-Turbo-Stick-Turbografx-16-Joystick-CONTROLLER-grafx_W0QQitemZ260102920722QQcategoryZ49230QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem) if you're still looking. cord has some stuff on it but if you're anal I think you can still get those from TZD.

Does anyone know if the turbo stick would make playing fighting street any better =P~ I know im asking for a lot here I enjoy the game just annoys me that you cant pull off the moves whenever you want.
-
Fighting Street plays poorly regardless of the stick/pad that's being used.
-
Fighting Street is garbage, but the special moves have a much higher success rate if you put buttons I & II on high-turbo.

Wow, really? Now that is interesting, I'm gonna have to remember that the next time I play it.

Fighting Street is the best video game ever. Eh, kiddo...

I was setting up a Billy Madison quote (with the "eh, kiddo" interjected) and no one picked up on it.
BTW, Fighting Street was the first CD game I ever bought. After playing if for roughly and hour, I took the game back and exchanged it for Ys 1&2. My life was forever changed at that very moment...
-
Damn good trade. Unfortunately, I kept my copy of Fighting Street (I already had Ys I & II).

I was quoting the guy from fighting street, haha

O'Doyle: Mortal Kombat for the Sega Genesis is the best game ever made.
Billy Madison: I disagree. It's a very good game, but I think Donkey Kong is better.
O'Doyle: Donkey Kong sucks!
Billy Madison: You know somethin'? You suck!
-
O'Doyle rules!

Yeah, I came up lame duck on the FS quote. The "eh, Kiddo" is all I remember of that, um, game. For some reason, it has stuck with me.

When any computer opponent beats you:
"You've got a lot to learn before you beat me. Try again kiddo!"
When you beat any computer opponent but Sagat:
"What strength! But don't forget there are many guys like you all over the world."
When you beat Sagat:
"You've outlasted the best. You are now the strongest street fighter in the world!"
After any Ryu-Ken 2P battle, whoever loses says:
"I wish you good luck!"
...and that's 0.000068% of my permanent memory that will never be able to store anything else. Hmph.

haha, excellent :D

As much as I love the system and it's games, it was a sign of things to come when "Fighting Street" was one of the first games to Showcase the CD-Rom unit for the TG-CD.
I vaguely remember owning Monster Lair. It was an endearing title, two-player co-op if I remember.
