Title: Mario & Sonic At The Olympic Games (Wii, DS)
Post by: Keranu on March 29, 2007, 12:24:10 PM
Looks like Mario and Sonic will officially be starring in a game together and it's for the Beijin 2008 Olympics (http://wii.ign.com/articles/776/776460p1.html)! Uhh I don't know why they decided to make it an olympic event game, but how on Earth would Mario ever be able to outrun Sonic in the track events?

I thought this was a pretty stupid idea at first, but it's starting to grow on me now since I do enjoy some old olympic video games, like Track and Field 2, '88 Games, and that one for the Turbo. However I would much rather have something like an old skool platformer where you can switch between Mario and Sonic in game to use their own skillz to get past obstacles.

I'm betting on lead shoes.

Yay - Wii Sports with Mario and Sonic!
Hopefully I'm wrong, but this sounds like another collection of mini-games that get real old, real quick (unless you're playing with friends and liquor is involved).

Nuke Beijing!
*sniff-sniff* - uuummm, smells like flame bait.  :|
