Quite easy to find in Japan or on yahoo auction.
There also is the multi version (which can be used with the Genesis, the SFC and the PC Engine).

Awesome! Thanks guys!

What the hell? There is a card slot right in the stick? Why?

:^o To play games on the built-in PCE (the slot loading CD drive is on the right hand side). :^o

oh didn't know that about the cd-rom. thanx for the hint.

I think its just there to show the size of the stick.

I was playing the Darius arcade machine recently with the proper stick control and it was superb. Looking at the fighting stick shown here, it looks as if I could recreate that experience. I hope one pops up on UK Ebay eventually.

That Fighting Commander actually does have a PCE inside of it. Im pretty sure I saw it on GameSX. It may be Lawrences, but I cant remember for sure if it was his. Nice mod, I considered doing a copycat mod when I have time.
-
You've got to be kidding, grahf. That's a freaking crazy, awesome mod! Looks like an accident waiting to happen with the card sticking halfway out of the controller, but this wouldn't be the first mod that was more 'cool' than 'practical'.
-
I dont know for sure, but Its probably only sticking out that far for the picture.
PCE are damn tiny, so its not that crazy. I have a SNES joystick thats bigger than my SNES:

It would be cake to fit a PCE into the thing. May have to cap off the programmable buttons:

Yeah Lawrence does not like any sentence that ends with a question mark, that's for sure. :)

I used the Hori PCE Stick before. That bad boy is quite a bit heavy because of the material.

Its not fake, he put the PCE inside of it himself. You can see the build notes on the link.
People make projects like this all the time.
