ok, i'm thinking of goin for the whole supergrafx + super cdrom2 combo for complete compatability. i eventially want to have the supergrafx region modded to accept US Hucards but i'm also want to get an eventual S-video mod. for the s-video mod since the cdrom2 unit attaches to the supergrafx which do i have modded so they both output s-video?
also whats rarer darius alpha or Sapphire?
thanks

I believe this is the rarest of all PCE Items:

It is from the pre-mesozoic era, a time when opposable thumbs were the stuff of science fiction...

Well, if you want both to output S-Video, you'll have to mod both. Duh!

Both the SGX and SuperCDROM have video-out jacks, but the video is brighter coming out of the SGX. If you do a S-Video mod, you might want to put the circuitry in the SGX, because you can actually open that system up with a gamebit. (I put my RGB mod inside of my SCDROM attachment because there's more room in there than my PCE, but the screws are a very nonstandard type that will give you problems.)

Darius alpha by far.

yhea, i don't have a super cdrom2 unit but i know it attaches to the supergrafx. i wasn't sure if they maintained there seperate a/v outputs or if it was like the genesis/sega cd combo where the sega cd just used the output on the genesis (thus you only needed to s-video mod the genny)
thanks for the help
that multy tap looked like it was dug up 1000 years from now in a post apocalyptic future then sent back through a time machine to be put on auction through ebay

Ya, that multi tap is a super pos
