Hudson Entertainment is trying to make a big comeback in the Western console space this year, with a number of titles pending, including Bomberman: Act Zero, and the long-running Japanese RPG Tengai Makyo for 360, as well as titles for PSP and DS, including Dungeon Explorer and Nectaris (PSP) and Bomberman Land (DS).

Nectaris DS, but it's coming out for the PSP ...so I guess that's fine...

Nectaris is sadly coming to PSP instead.

From what I've been able to find (by typing Nectaris PSP into Google), it's going to be a port of the PS1 game.
-
Maybe it'll just be one of those PS1 games you download through your PS3 to run on the PSP.
-
Hmm, I forgot about Dungeon Explorer PSP. Will be interesting. But it's a new Hudson game, and they can't make games anymore, so it'll probably be bad.

I am REALLY hoping Nectaris for PSP isn't a port of the PS1 version. why would Hudson do that if they're making new games for all their other series (not counting Wii Virtual Console downloads).
I hope that Nectaris PSP blends the best of Nectaris with the few good atributes of Neo-Nectaris, and goes from there. new units, good graphics, sea battles (imagine if on Mars, the planet is partly covered in water)....
I had really hoped a new Nectaris would appear on DS, but I'll take a PSP version if its not just a PS1 port.

I don't know why Hudson doesn't do a TurboGrafx/PC Engine "Greatest Hits" disc for the PSP, liek the Capcom, Genesis, Activision or Metal Slug collections that have had great success on the platform. The PSP really is a great retro-gaming handheld, despite it's design short-comings, simply because of the wealth of old-school game collections that have been released to date...
...and, of course, if you're running DA's firmware, you can play TG16 games on your PSP now...
