Here's a little app that I came across that might be of interest to the folks here. An offline catalog of all the PC-Engine/Turbo CD games with screenshots and some random info. You can download it ->here.<- (http://www.snapdrive.net/files/464078/PC Engine CD Offline Catalogue.zip)

pffft

Yeah, people who use OSX are motherf*cking a$$holes and I hope all of their moms get raped and die of AIDS. f*cking Mac users. Only WINDOWS users can be classified as real people. I think I will go out and murder a few Mac users tonight... always fun.

Psst.... try parallels (http://www.parallels.com/en/products/workstation/mac/).

This was made a french guy who left the pce scene a few years ago.

That only works on brand new Intel Macs. I have a PowerPC G4. :(
-
Virtual PC then?
It's a bit slow though... It's okay for running WinME and under, but XP is a killer to run on a G4.
-
Exactly. Virtual PC is a pile of shit. I ain't bloating up my system for that one little app.
It'll have to wait until I get an Intel Mac.
-
great tool. also using it since a while. and the best is, you can modify and customize it by your own taste.
-
This is a great application! I plan to release an updated list for this program which will cover more than 700 games. But I've got no time to do this atm :(
Does anyone know where to dl the HuCard version?
-
I've also been using the offline catalogue for a long time, and it is great application!!!!! priceless app !!!
If you are interested, I have also started a series of catalogues. The first one lists all the HuCards/Turbochips I know about. Here it is (http://www.vgden.com/article.htm?list).

I found them through Google too, but I'll actually include links.

Hucard catalog:

The CD catalog also has a few updates to the database, which might be helpful to those with an older version. Very cool little programs!

I've also had this programmed mirrored on my host as well - download it here (http://www.lazerdorks.org/~keranu/pce_catalogue.rar). I think my link includes both the HuCard and CD packs as well as the updates (I know this is what I have on my computer).
-
thanks.. , checking it out right away.

thanx keranu, but i'm having problems with the cd catologe . I says some strange message in french when I try to look at certain titles. Has anyone else had this problem? should I reinstall or something?

I'm not sure if this is the problem you are getting, but there are a lot of games listed that don't have screenshots and so when you click on them, a message will pop up saying screenshots aren't available. I don't recall it being French, maybe there was a language option in the installation?

Funny, I figured this software probably wasn't known about, but I searched anyway and found this. Was gonna make a new thread. Anyway, seeing as all the links are dead, I might as well add the one I already uploaded.

I didn't know there was one for HuCards only though. If anyone has that, please upload.
Threw in some demo shots:

Well then. I had no idea something this useful existed!
Downloaded, installed, and an obey smile has appeared :)
-
Excellent! Thanks for digging up this thread, NightWolve! I'm downloading now.
-
Not sure whats up, but I have downloaded them both several times now, and I cannot extract them.. Says the file is corrupt.
-
It did the same thing to me with both files the first time I tried Bernie. I guess keep trying till you get it?
-
My link on page 2 is fine, right ?

CD Catalog only.
-
Yes NW, your is active and working right. I have that one tho. I was wanting the HuCARD version, and any updates to the CD one. :)
Ive tried downloading them about 6 or 7 times each now. I give up. Keep getting the corrupt message when I try to extract. ugh..
-
It looks like there are some issues with the FTP host. I have just managed to download and extract both OK.
However I have just tried to re-up the files, just in case there were issues with the files and I am having all sorts of connection issues with the FTP site.
So I have temporarily re-upped these to MEGA

Got em. Thanks!
I have added them to my Dropbox, so here is a link for that as well. I will keep this up, basically indefinitely. Both programs, Hu and CD, are included in the link below.

Tangent: So, who's the free file sharing champ ??
I tried Google Drive, but it sucked, wouldn't give you a direct link to a file; it'd take you to a viewer and make finally downloading a file with simple clicky+download tougher, so I went back to what I knew, mediafire.com.
Everybody else used something different: dropbox, mega.co, etc.
Just curious, which one nowadays do you guys think is the best ?
-
Looks like the issues with the FTP host are fixed, so I have re-added the links.
